Remember when Nid was picked all the time for OP spears, then they..."nerfed" them, now she can still 2-shot with spears (that are invisible most of the time btw) and her ridiculous cougar form allows her to clear jungle at 100%.

Since the start of the season "strategic diversity" is non-existant

It's going to take more than one patch for tank junglers to be viable, if at all, their early game will still be DESTROYED by j4, lee, and all your favorite top tier's

Mana heavy mages are dead, ala Anivia, Galio, Ziggs, even if some of them can be played you'll be destroyed by anyone with free harass, Kat, Zed....

Lee Sin still has all of his mobility with no trade offs

Still worthless items in the shop like Zz'Rot Portal, Ohmwrecker

As someone playing since Season 1, this is easily the worst Season yet.

Maybe one day more than 1/5 of the cast will be viable

actually rammus works extremely well in this jungle meta because the current jungle meta is very auto attack reliant and mana heavy mages are not dead xerath velkoz azir and to somewhat of an extent karthus are all viable and they chew through tons of mana

Yes but you forget that Xerath and Karthus have ways of replenishing mana that are not item dependant: Xerath's passive and Karthus' E

Azir doesn't have primarily high mana costs on his abilities and his auto attacks are the main source of his damage, not his spells.

When you have champions such as Anivia, Galio and Ziggs, like OP said, that need mana to be of any worth in a meta where mana regen is shit and mana regen items are nerfed it makes them nigh unplayable unless your opponent is a fool or you are a god.

Yes mana is supposed to "gate" power but there is no point in making mana using mages shit until 30 minutes in.

Whereas Zed, Rek'sai, Lee sin, Kat and others have no constraints except for how fast you can roll your face on your keyboard.

i havent seen a goood rammus since preseason 5. their clears are slow, easy to invade, loses to "auto attack" champions like lee and j4 especially early on.

vel koz loses to zed, and isn't nearly as mana hungry as the champs i listed. xerath has built in sustain and the highest burst in the game, azir is pretty bad right now. karthus also has built in mana and some of the best scaling in the game.
