I really dont understand why people think that win rates dont matter in low elo.

Win rates matter in all elos. If champ A sucks in high elo chances are he will suck also in low elo..

People dont understand in all elos people have similar skill levels... not sure about silver elo seems to be a huge gap between skill levels possibly because of the huge player base in that elo....

if champion B is strong in high elo then they will be strong in low elo..

ur already a bad player in bronze - silver...

PICK CHAMPS THAT ARE ACTUALLY META OR GOOD IF U WANT TO WIN MORE....

STOP PICKING CHAMPS THAT SUCK

Nope.

Some champions are balanced when people know how to handle them but tend to stomp players who don't know how to do so. Examples include Master Yi, Akali, Annie, and Garen.

Some champions are extremely powerful when played properly and rather useless when played poorly. Examples include Ivern, Azir, Kalista and Zed.

Win rate matters, but only your personal win rate.

I do not care if some random assassin has a winrate of 60% and is supposed to be a counter to the enemy midlaner - if I pick an assassin, I am going to SUCK. Global winrates mean nothing if the champ does not match your playstyle, and ESPECIALLY in low elo, experience and champion mastery mean more than "counter picking" or FOTM.

Sometimes. Other times champions are top tier in high ELO and garbage in low. Vice versa applies too

Then how do you explain Garen having a bad winrate in high elo and good winrate in low elo?
