Who (in your opinion) is the most dominant mid during laning phase?

Things to consider would be:

Range Damage Ease in countering/counterplay

and anything else that you can consider.

In my opinion, I believe that Syndra is an extremely dominant mid laner who is very difficult to counter when she is played to her full potential. This is probably because she is extremely long ranged, has extreme single target damage, can cast all of her spells while moving (this is actually super important), has short cooldown on her Q, and she can peel for herself with her E.

Anyone else with a different opinion?

I'd say leblanc. Even though she doesn't have a silence anymore her damage is still just as insane as ever. As long as leblanc avoids taking hits she is extremely dominant. Her insane amount of mobility and burst allow her to either escape ganks or kill the ganker with ease. If she does get counter picked she can just roam to other lanes and pick people off. Not to mention double chains is amazing cc.

Malzahar is pretty high up there.

Fizz is dominant during the Long-onto-league-of-legends-and-start-playing phase

But, realistically, Orianna has alot of laning power, however Assassins counter her, except talon. Xerath also has strong laning.

Syndra.

Has everything, CC, Range, 0 counterplay on her abilities and huge damage.
