It's annoying if Client crashes, the player is hit with a queue dodge timer

This has happened for half a year, I tried to report the bug every patch cycle, but during Champion select, the client would occasionally crash, higher chance if in a chat or editing runes, but sometime it would still crash while doing nothing. I have no connectivity issue whatsoever playing the game for years.

After the crash and sending the crash report, the Client re-launches, and due to poor software design, it loads up in a screen with an infinite spinner where the user cannot click anything until the champion select times out. I think in such cases where the Client is crashing, the user shouldn't be hit with a queue dodge timer. When it crashes twice in five games, the next queue time wait is 20 minutes.

  1. No infinite spinner in your software design, maybe add keyboard for accessibility (ie. enter to select the champion).

  2. Don't hit us with a queue dodge timer with your bad software design. If a user sends a client crash report, restart them without a penalty.

Never happened to me. Since you are a software engineer I guess your machine is state of the art so I won't even bother asking that. Are you on cable or Wifi? If you are on wifi just don't. Buy a cable

I am on WiFi, but if I can play the game with 60 ms ping, that means my connection is good. If the game does drop out during champion select because of connectivity issues, then when the client re-launches, it should not be going into an infinite spinner screen during which my internet connection is totally fine. Riot just need to put more care into the way they code the client error recovery logic.
