The community is still toxic. Community is still arguing that only 1/4, if that, of the champs are viable. People still want short games, but complain that champions can 100-0 in 1 second. Community still complains Riot doesn't listen to them, but in reality the game is how it is because they did listen.

Shorter games- Delivered Solo/Duo and Flex Queue - Delivered Skarner on release - Delivered Lee Sin #1 playrate - Delivered Champions that are considered toxic by the community nerfed -Delivered

Maybe instead of asking for the same things we as a community should be looking at asking for different things.

Longer games, with actual counterplay. Tank Stats that are meaningful. Damage champs that can't build tank, and be stronger than tanks at tanking. Tank champs that can't build damage and be stronger than damage champs at damaging. More options to reduce CC to allow counterplay. More options that allow healing to exist within the game. More Itemization. Removing animosity between roles. (Jungler hate laners, laners hate junglers, support hates everyone, everyone hates support)

Some of this could be solved with balance changes, others need more significant changes. Honestly the current state of the game is a result of many years of Riot listening to the community, as a community we should ask them to change some things back, to allow actual gameplay that isn't just "I pressed the button first"

Just going to down vote you right now. S2-s4 there were 15 viable champions. Now a days you can play almost anything and find success with it. Also lee sin is still cancerous after 5 seasons.

Except that 15 is 25% of 60, which is about how many champions there were in S2 and s3.

Uh... that's just wrong. The roster reached 100 champions in the middle of Season 2.

I hate shorter games. Every single one of my favorite games in memory lasted more than 50 minutes, and some of them were even losses. Recently I was on a team that was losing hard but we banded together at 25 min and pushed down all 3 mid turrets, inhib, 2 more turrets, and the nexus in 1 single push. The only reason we won was because the enemy did not coordinate their teamfights better, felt cheap as hell. These short games just don't feel right. Games are decided in single teamfights that last 3 seconds.

I couldn't have said this better myself. I miss having team fights so long that you could respawn, and then walk back to the teamfight, and keep team fighting. It felt like you didn't just have to kill the enemy once to win the game, it felt like you had to time their deaths so you could get something out of it.

What, you expect some great purge of the LoL Comminity only leaving brand new players and Non toxic Players alone?

Asslicking is strong within this thread.

Removing toxic champions? Yasuo has been toxic for a full three years, Riot refuse to even acknowledge an issue. Everyone who doesn't main Lee Sin still hates him, but he's immune to changes. Kalista's kit is still toxic, but she's been over-nerfed to keep her from being played, rather than fixed.

Riot mostly just rework champions whose kits are dated and maybe not as fun or fulfilling to play as they could be. They don't care about fixing the ones people absolutely hate playing against.
