Taliyah could be a pretty good botlane mage.

There are three reasons for this.

Her Q is most effective on terrain that hasn't been used lately, and the side lanes are larger than mid.
Her E stones will explode if enemies are pushed/pulled through them. + Taliyah Botlane seems scary, since if one of these guys force an enemy through the stones, they just took an assload of damage.
If one of the aforementioned supports somehow forces the enemy carry towards you, it is a simple matter of timing to "Catch" them with Seismic Toss, placing them directly under your tower.

Will she upset the meta of botlane? Probably not. AP Carry Taliyah botlane will definitely be a fun thing for normals, though.

Umm she is listed as a mage/support. So she is expected to be in bot lane as her secondary role.

I am talking being the carry in bot, making use of the synnergy between her and displacement supports.

You mean replacing the adc? While I love off meta bot lanes. I would see her as a roaming support. There is really no benefit to her to share experience and this would gimp her as a main carry role while limiting her roaming as she would need the pressure on dragon and bot lane esp with the changes to dragon.

However I could see her going with a hard roaming support like a bard and making some serious plays........ Bard ult to hold them while Taliyah ults in..... But that would be super situational.

she might not be good since she has only one kind of cc ability on a long cooldown and her abilities don't give much utility. plus she seems like someone who needs to build a lot of ap it might be cause im very disapointed with her passive/ult but dunno if she'll be any good in mid much less support
