Today I had someone tell me he never played with or against a Cassiopeia. [zombie-brand-clap]
I am curious, after her reword and buff no one plays her? Her play rate has only increase slightly and is at 2.2% according to lolking.net.
I think her playrate will increase eventually once people notice how strong she is but I assumed her rework would be reason enough. Apparently not.
Her play rate's always been low, for one reason or another. I don't think she'll see a big rise in play rate unless she's REALLY overpowered.
I mained Cass last season. I don't like the rework, overall.
What was good about the change was shifting damage back towards the poison. What was completely stupid was changing the mechanics of all her spells, especially her Miasma into a poison arc instead of keeping it as a growing cloud of s poison (and it doesn't give vision anymore)- while it's useful, it's really less synergistic with the rest of her kit.
I got used to playing the new Cass, which is not as skill intensive (and honestly, not as fun) and started playing Lissandra instead. I don't understand why players complained so much about her high skill-cap sustained damage play style when she played like an adc (no one complains about Vayne or Draven).
I've seen more Cassiopeia's recently than I've seen Aurelion Sols since his release. You wanna talk about unplayed, I'd be surprised if some people haven't utterly forgotten him.
