If you are playing on your own account, it doesn't count as boosting.

Dynamic Queue has made that very clear this past season.

I'm going to dispense with the player opinions so you know exactly what kind of "boosting" by Riot's definition is not allowed;

WHAT IS MATCH MAKING RATING BOOSTING?

MMR Boosting (Match Making Rating, also known as Elo Boosting) is an act where a player (The Booster) logs into another player's account (The Boostee) to play a ranked game. While it is generally accepted that the intent of this is to improve the Boostee's MMR, any ranked game played by someone that is not the original creator of the account may be considered Boosting and as a result may be eligible for punishment.

https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201751834-MMR-Elo-Boosting

The key difference between "boosting" and playing with a high elo smurf is that someone else is on your account when it's boosted. Smurfing is not punishable, and playing with smurfs isn't either whether you are aware of it or not.

Aside from MMR Boosting, account sharing itself is not allowed for any reason as per the Terms of Use
