Will ability ratios ever be visible in the game?

There's a handful of abilities, like Garen 's spin, that show their scaling ratio in game. Some others show it when ranking up, but only if the ratio changes. But for the vast majority, they need to be guesstimated, or checked on the wiki if you want to know if their scaling is worth building items for, because sometimes it's not and there's no way to know until you build them.

Is there any actual reason for displaying a few ratios, but not most, in game? Or did things kind of just end up that way based on who was writing the tooltips?

What i really need is a color difference between base ad, bonus ad and total ad scaling

I've heard that the new client will have better champion profiles, but that's still out of the game. Updating the ability details to make it shorter and more informative would be a nice task incase they wonder what to do next. However, they first have to fix a lot of things that aint broken.

MonkeyKing gains 4/6/8 Armor and MR for every nearby enemy

Player: Neat, will it say exactly how much I'm getting if I hover over the ability? Rito: NOPE :D Player: ...

I just build some damage and watch how the damage scaling changes over time. ad champs are a bit trickier than ap but I generally assume carries use bonus ad, tanks use total ad, and bruisers have a mix of the two depending on which end of the tank/damage spectrum they are.

Can't you just guesstimate by dividing?

Some are directly stated if the scaling is weird, but probably not going to happen for all abilities in-game. It would have to detail how the scaling works, and THEN show you how much damage you get from that scaling, and that would clutter the tool-tip.

BUT WAIT, COOL SHIT IS ON THE WAY In the current Alpha Client, when you go to a specific champion page, it shows you all of the abilities scaling values along with the description. It also shows you an animation of the ability.

If you haven't signed up to be an Alpha Tester just yet, go ahead and do so. The next update should include Draft mode, and they'll be opening it up to "hundreds of thousands" of new players to test.

Most ratios are easy to guess, Any ap skill clearly shows once you have 10 ap. for ad skills its a little tougher so they wont ever show, mainly due to some being all AD, some base ad, some bonus ad
