How can i know how far I am from Honor promotion ?

So I am trying to improve my honoring and sustain from being negative but so far after all my attempts i still have no clue why I am not getting promoted or how much left for me to be promoted. Current Honor system is not too good by not letting players to know if they are going the right direction or not.

They stated that not allowing players to know where they stood between levels was intentional. This from what I remember was to discourage people from grinding out high honor levels. Each level takes a pretty long time and it's meant to be gained over the length of an entire season.

I still don't understand what's wrong with players grinding honors ? It means players intentionally and conscientiously would try to be nice to others. How is it a bad thing ? Just make more honor levels and let them grind. It's always nice to get more achievements and if it's based on moral performance, then why not?

I mean I totally agree that was just what I saw from a rioter when honor was released. They intentionally don't want people grinding it. The only problem I could see from an indicator would be people maxing out and then not worrying about a report if they were maxed out because it may not drop them significantly enough. In theory at that point as long as you were never seriously punished you could work your honor in such a way as to still be honor 5 at the end of the season and be nasty to people just not super nasty? I guess they think invisible indicator = better behavior because of no chance of manipulation?

I don't know what I'm talking about.

Theres checkpoints in the next season which are on PBE so you'll get a bit of a closer look at your progress.

The system is a bit more advanced than "Get x amount of honours in y time without getting punished" or anything like that, so it doesn't really lend itself to a simple progress bar. (For example, players who are kinda toxic but not punishment level, will still not progress very fast if at all in the system, even if they're honoured every game.)

I'm pretty sure player support doesn't mind going over recent chat logs to give you tips on how to conduct yourself (or even say that "yup you're good, keep it up") if you're keen on taking an active role in improving yourself.
