-they could start by removing the %Armor shred from their kits.

They already have free %HP damage and massive mobility, do they really need resist shred on top of it?

Hi, I'm Olaf. I have a 250 true damage nuke that scales with total AD and kills me when I use it. I have no gap closers or hard cc, but I do have a permaslow skillshot.

How was Olaf ever a good jungler. I mean, even before the spirit stone changes. It still boggles my mind.

Both of their percent HP damage is pretty meh at best. JIV's is on a static cooldown that's way longer than it should really even take to kill someone, and that he probably won't last all the way through a fight for to get on someone twice whether building fighter or tank. Vi's doesn't really even wrack up a whole lot of damage over an extended period of time unless she's building attack speed to keep her AAs up, because otherwise once she burns her charges on Excessive Force she just becomes a pair of giant, slow fists that don't do a whole lot on their own.

Given that they both pretty much require hard engages, I don't see why giving them percent armor shred is such a bad thing. It clearly isn't making them utterly broken, as either of them can be shut down easily enough, and there are plenty of other champions benefitting from % shreds much more.
