With the Heavy tank Meta Its become quite a tougher game for Assassin players, including, myself. As assassin We still take out ADC's and MID laners, but then you have to deal voli, gragas, maokai, cho'gath, ect and boy does that become a real bum late game.
Soo any thoughts on that and what mid laners are doing better then others currently?

That's the assassin's role. You shouldn't be able to delete tanks, although you can help poke them down or clean up after they've been softened by the adc.
You shouldn't have to deal with those tanks, especially past the late-game. The frontline of your team should keep them away from your backline, and if you take out the apc and adc, the enemy team loses a lot of their damage. Afterwards, you clean up if necessary and try to protect the adc from assassins that try to delete them.
Use that mobility to avoid tanks. You shouldn't be trying to duel them, especially in a fair fight. You're an assassin, you're supposed to fight dirty.

Aaravos1 votesIt can be harder but more effective playing an assasin nowdays. You can also have tanks in your team and assasins can be very strong together with some heavy tank, but you need to be very ceraful when and how to enter into a teamfight. If you fuck it up you got cced and bursted down very quickly. However 
is a real pain to deal with.
Dedrius1 votesBut since it is the tank meta, if you can eliminate their ADC and Mid (or one or the other while remaining healthy yourself) you have basically removed a majority of their damage while your tanks are still their to soak damage and your ADC can still dish it out.
