How is it helping the community when 3 out of 5 teammates are tilted in champ select from being autofilled and/or being tilted from being autofilled from the previous game?

You mean it helps people who put support as their secondary role and screws everybody else over. I don't know anybody in Bronze - Plat who wouldn't mind waiting an extra minute or two to get one of their 2 roles guaranteed.
Why the hell would anyone want a low queue time to spend 20-50 mins playing a role they zero interest in playing? That's not even mentioning how much it increases dodging & the fact that adcs more frequently have to play with supports that have no business playing support.
We DO NOT need autofill in every elo at all times. Should be exclusive to Diamond + and only enabled elsewhere during times where there aren't many people on in that respective region.

Do you have any idea how much it hurts a game to have someone who doesn't know what they're doing and/or pissed off because they didn't get the role they wanted?

The only place autofill actually helps is high elo where 30+ minute queue times were common & that issue needed to be address. Hell, I heard horror stories of queue times going up to a fucking hour.
Everywhere else autofill is completely unnecessary. I don't know what world Riot is in, but we don't have queue time issues down here in the mortal realms of Bronze. Why the fuck do we need it? Also, why the hell is it turned on in Normal Draft?

Doesn't bother me. There was a time when we didn't get to choose our roles at all. At least now we do and we don't get to autofill every game. I autofill like 1 game out of 10. Only people who complain are ungrateful brats
