The Zed Nerfs might be a bit much

While I understand the need for adjusting the damage to zed's q and ultimate, I think the ult nerfs paired up with q changes will be a bit too much. I think the pop percentage on the ult should stay as it is on live and the ult ad ratio lowered to either .7 or .75. Cutting the total ad ratio on his ult in half along with lowering the ad ratio on his q, zed's late game is going to be much more difficult, and while I do think he should be hard to master, these changes are a bit too far.

They nerfed him if you are terrible with Zed, but if you mastered him and hit miltiple Qs its a buff.

About time... So, go look at every single champion added since 2015. All of them either "Struggles Against: LeBlanc" or "Struggles Against: Zed".

Also, think about the past few item changes: They gave him two ults with item 3147 , then took away the only means to counter them when they nerfed item 3140 .

It is a targeted nerf for a lane behavior that was pretty silly, where he throws his q at you every time it is off CD.

a few characters simply cannot deal with that level of harassment early game.

So it was this or increase the stamina cost to reduce the spamitude of it.

The ult damage is actually increased under most scenarios. The only scenario where he will do less damage is if he lands 1 or fewer abilities while ulting. This is particularly true when you take into account the increased Q ratio on multihits, which is easier to make use of after an ult.

This is of course balanced by the Q nerfs, which makes it a generally weaker skill. Some people will say this makes him better if you've mastered Zed, but it really does reduce the skills power in the large majority of use scenarios, especially in laning.
