Would he see a distinct reduction in his AD whenever he is within the aura range?

It will affect his attack speed and the bonus AD he gets.

lowers his attack speed which doesn't affect the rate in which he attacks but the bonus AD he receives from Attack speed.

Well think about this, it reduces attack speed, which means that Jhin's actual attack speed should take a slow and in return he has less AD, by the way look up Frozen Heart on this I think it received a change, it says slows AS of nearby enemies now.

Well, first of all, you have to auto attack the person wearing the FH for it to have any effect. After that, I would expect his AS to be lowered, which for him does not affect his speed, but rather his damage.

I was just wondering this the other day.

Jhin cant lose attack speed because he has a set attack speed, but building attack speed from items increases damage so my theory is that it only decreases the damage given from extra attack speed and if you have no attack speed items it would do nothing

Example: Rapid fire cannon gives the range +damage +attack speed so the attack speed bonus damage would be reduced by fh
