Champion Takedown: do Assists count?

Boxleitner··3 votes·12,517 views

Dear Riot and fellow summoners:

  • IN REGARDS TO THE NEW RUNE SYSTEM BEING DEPLOYED IN PRESEASON -

When looking at the runes, some of their abilities have a condition known as getting a "champion takedown."

I wanted to know if getting an assist counts as a "champion takedown"

Thank you,

Box.

Takedown is basically leagues term for (kill or assist) so they don't have to constantly write "...on kill or assist".

Do takedown's only work on Champs? Or do they work on Monsters/Minions?
