people who afk for the whole game after selection and afk in general

why are you stuck with a loss after a person decides they dont want to play after selection. if u get an AFK for the whole game it should be a "loss forgiven" and no loss of lp in a ranked game. i also feel that people who afk in ranked should be hit with an instant 14 day ban from ranked play. then this penalty doubles for each new offense that occurs. i lost over 50 games last season due to people not even playing the game. 4 of these were in series matches for promotion. why dose riot let these guys off the hook easily? No LP should be lost when you lose a teammate mid game either. if they d/c and never come back the 14 day ranked ban should be slapped on them as well. any one else tired of 1 person pretty much dooming you to fail when they knowingly played with a crappy connection?

then somebody could just go afk so their duo que buddy doesnt lose LP, now if the rest get a loss prevented and the afk and his duo partner(if there is one) both get punished then sure

summoners code puts people as responsible for there internet connection and that the pc they are using is capable. i saw the same guys wreck 2 or more games when they were on my team. reported them each time and no bans were handed out. this is the stuff that riot needs to clamp down on.

An instant 14 day ban for having a one day internet issue sounds pretty harsh bub maybe we should ban you for 14 days for being pretty salty and not realizing sometimes the internet is out of their control Ive had days where one day my internet is fine then the next day my ISP decides to shut down the servers for matienence without no warning right before I start a ranked match. Does that mean I deserve a 14 day ban? no it doesnt, it also said in the summoners code they are responsible for fixing an ONGOING issue or they might be banned, not after only one game. Might I also add youre in bronze, youre going to see alot of 4v5's afks and feeders, you need to learn how to positively deal with them, get over your elo hell shit (it isnt a thing unless youre bronze five 0lp with a loss streak of 10+ games) and you need to learn how to play all the roles and different champion counters, Ive won 3v5's on a team where the three of us went full tanks and couldnt die, malphite singed and xin its possible if youre not a debbie downer saying "GG" in all chat 2 minutes in because of an afk, HALF THE TIME the enemy takes several or more minutes to realize there is an afk , esp. protip: if your jungler is afk dont let the enemy know, that only lets them know that A) the enemy jungle can counter jungler freely B) enemy jungle can gank without worrying of counter ganks C) enemy can be more agressive knowing you wont get ganks

notice i said from ranked play only. not from general play. they talk about changing summoners attitudes and getting results. i think a 14 day ban from ranked would yield great results in helping the population. it would weed out the people that say they want to play ranked but really dont. so if i get this straight you condone afks and quitters? also u think the current measures work just great apparently. i ask how would you fix this as its pretty common place and needs to be dealt with. ive reported players for going afk in 2 games in the same night. as the player was on my team both times or once on my team. then once on another. yet i run into the same guy 2 days later. still doing the same thing after maybe a slap on the wrist.

First off why wouldnt you dodge? youd rather lose 14+ lp over 3? makes sense 2) Again if its a one time incident a 14 day ban is fucking ridiculous you cant say its not
3) AGAIN You belong in bronze/silver or dont even belong in playing league going into every game with the mindeset "theres prob gunna be an afk/feeder" 4) carry games, an afk doesnt mean an automatic loss If you have ever gotten a solo triple kill, you can win a 4v5 easily (that is you took out three of them without any heals /cc/help from your team 5) players cant control their internet HOW MANY TIME MUST I STATE THIS the ISP controls your internet, and you cant do shit about it. 6) Afking, intentionally isnt a problem as much as it is there to warn players of their bad internet (in ranked/bots/norms all game modes) I have not had a single game in the past 2 years of playing league where somebody intentionally afked from the beginning of the game or left mid game, IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN a server or internet issue
