We need to be able to Identify Duo or more queues

Whenever roles are called during blind pick, there are always those times when two people call the lane first and it's up to the other players to show who actually got the lane. Unfortunately, whenever there are duo queue, the duo lies about who got it first more often than not, and then they lock in when their lie comes out. I don't know of any repercussions that could result from knowing who is duo, but if there are, I would like to hear them

The problem with blind pick isn't duos, it's chat lag. The calls can show up in different orders for different people, depending on latency and how quickly the calls were made relative to one another.

My only suggestion is to play draft.

This exactly, I've had blind pick lobbies where 2 people said I called support first, and the other 2 insisted that the other guy called it first... all of them posted what was in their chat box, and they were all different.

Draft pick -> pick order is the key to success in fixing this issue.

Riot asked op.gg to no longer show duo queue status for players in their live game report. Thus, Riot telling you who is and isn't duo is highly unlikely.

I believe that happened because there is increased toxicity in games where there is a known duo. Would be interested to hear Lyte's take on the topic of duo queue in general.

Ironically enough, I don't need OP.GG to tell me about it when they spam champ select with "BOT WITH [other person]" constantly to make sure that everyone knows they're a duo... smh

The good duos tend not to announce they're duo, and they tend to have a jungler in the duo. Jungle/mid is probably best, but jungle/any laner is quite good for coordination -- jungle/top is nice for dragon calls, jungle/mid is best roaming, jungle/adc wins the most important lane.

Exactly right. If this is the case, I don't rightly care if I have a duo in my game... This is never the case though...

My personal favourite, are the duo bot lanes that are all "omg dude we never win lane we're so OP just let us go bot." To which the reply "yea, heard that before... didn't go so well" is usually thrown out, they retort back... blah...blah...blah...

Bot lane proceeds to go a combined 2/10+ and blames the jungler...

I think I've had ONE bot lane duo that actually won lane, and one of them was streaming and a Plat II smurf (the game happened in Silver IV). Aside from that, the only duo's I've had that were successful were those including a jungler...

Thanks a lot for the responses guys. I just thought that lolnexus and op.gg couldn't find out anymore and that riot had somehow changed things in their code. So it's just a problem that can't be avoided with blind pick. Unfortunate, but oh well. I'd go to teambuilder if it didnt' take forever to get teammates, but the only way that happened is if riot closed blind pick, and I doubt that will happen anytime soon.
