Anyone else extremely satisfied with this patch?

Honestly, after this patch I feel like the only mage that is unbalanced is Malzahar , all of the others feel balanced and fit in nicely with the other mages. The hotfixes coming out should fix a few of the underpowered champs like Cassiopeia . I still feel like Zed is a bit overpowered though. I feel that the new items turned out to be pretty nice. item 3152 could use a bit of a buff, I don't know any circumstance where the dash would be better than item 3030. The new Zyra rework is pretty awesome in my opinion, Brand seems balanced for now, Vladimir isn't that bad in my experience playing against him, Viktor didn't crash and burn like I thought he would, Velkoz turned out pretty good.Kindred however is kind of cancer though.

yea i actually love this patch. People are complaining on the boards and i was confused why. I love new drags, Rift Herald isn't as Op as they say, strong for sure though. Zed isn't balls to the wall 100%banrate no qss like they said he would be. I like the AP changes and other than balance i love the new mages as well. Kits are good imo.

Give the haters one month or so and they will forget about the changes made, which were simply possible excuses for not enjoying something. This is coming from a silver, I'm not an expert in the game and I'm in no position to say if something is good or bad, but playing for 3 years made me see a patern in the Riot-Community feedback.

Overall, the game feels more right. Turrets aren't paper anymore, the jungle is more rewarding and AP champions have more options with the new items. Don't get me wrong, I still think some things that got released and made numerous implications in the 'meta' could be tweaked (and possibly hit hard), but the patch 'didn't break the game'. The game just changed.

I'm not able to say anything about the mage reworks, but the community might be exagerating with their complaints. When a champions is reworked, they got changed. That change makes them different. Why do they get changed? Because they weren't played enough and/or they didn't have an identity. That doesn't always mean they get nerfed; they do get nerfed in some of their strengths, but they are then given new ones.

We should see how this turns out over a longer period of time, not from just 4 days.

The new mage items seem a big confusing.

Teemo being buffed was kinda needed to keep up with the mage's crazyness.

Veigar being buffed can make him also viable in bot lane as support for those veigar mains who never get mid in DQ.

As for everyone else, at least a change of breathing room can be nice.

Yea the game isn't broken, but some of the champion updates in this patch are frustrating to play against (or extremely fun to play with). People who play mages like this because it is a buff to them that is super strong, while other roles are struggling to find ways to get enough mr to keep them safe. The jg and item changes are awesome and dynamic. Anyone who has ever taken an early game malz ult to the face (or that op random mid game ult while the jungle just strolls out of the bush) before the patch understands why the new malz is more cancerous. Playing the new mages is super fun though. I feel godlike and while it is possible to die, it is much harder to do so now than it was before. Especially with a rylais, roa, liandrys, and passive on malz Malzahar

I think this is moving in a good direction but i think riot has a lot to look at on the next update, and i seriously advise that they don't take all criticism as spam. Because seriously... now when i die to brand to just his ultimate, I sit at base for 2 minutes reading item notes because i know of nothing to counter this sorcery

I really love the new Catalyst, Tanky meta for mages has arrived.
