Counters to the Yi Kayle Strategy?

After facing the dreaded Yi Kayle duo strategy in a Silver game, I'm basically on perma-tilt.

Is there anyway to counter it? I'm guessing the best that any regular ol' soloqueuer like myself can do is just stack hard CC and trying to fill my team in on what's going on.

Ryze Taric Janna get ryze to teleport you out. while taric keeps everyone safe from harm long enough to not die. then have janna use her item 3069 active and hide in your base.

I don't have much to give you, CC the Yi, get a Thornmail, or Bramble Armor, a Frozen Heart if that affects his Attack Speed during that, I don't know much about Tank Items, again, sorry for the lack of advice.

During Yi's ultimate, I don't think he's affected by slows or attack speed slows iirc.

I told my support to go top, and they still lost =. Idk what was happening though since other side of map, they were winning early with 2x Kayle cs and a few kills.

Beating Kayle in lane doesn't really matter, though. In a Kayle/Yi strategy, Kayle just builds as a support for Yi. Yi should be shut down, not Kayle.

counterpicks to master yi are generally champions with point and click abilities, the key to beating that strategy is to chain cc and have your own diver on the team to attract some attention while you do said cc chaining onto him, some of the better picks into yi for mages would be Lissandra Annie they have abilities that are very difficult for him to alpha strike dodge, forcing kayle to burn her ult early, or him to buy a qss early, which is 1300 gold spent on that

that strategy requires coordination to defeat, as it's a duo setup which means you need atleast one other to beat it, in the end its a team game so that shouldn't sound to bad right? ugh...
