When Olaf was used with Righteous Glory , didn't they nerf Olaf, alongside a bunch of other champs, and then nerf Righteous Glory without reverting the nerfs (a la Sejuani and Cinderhulk)?

I don't know how you compare those 2 to yasuo of all champions. Yas has a shield, can block any projectile for his whole team, can build 1 crit item then go full tank with tri force, has an insane amount of mobility, gets free armor pen, has a AoE knockup and can easily solo carry games. Both Kali and Azir are extremely team reliant, with Kalista you need a good support or its GG and with Azir you need a solid frontline to keep assassins from deleting you.

in terms of inputs, like you aren't able to play him without a lot of practice, sure. in terms of output, not really. he has a really specific mobility strength case around minion waves, a utility spell, and a knockup. that isn't that crazy.

It was in March 2014. Only three months after I started playing. I have feint memories of playing Kha'Zix before that. Sadly, I never got enough IP to play him before his E was nerfed. I was confused on how my friend was doing so much damage with that cool leap attack. Also, I never knew the reason he was nerfed was because of LCS, so thanks for the information. Sad to see this happening to Rek'Sai, though.

Well old kha'zix WAS pretty different, and even if kha'zix right now is strong and good, he's nowhere near the old kha'zix.

Q- 45% more damage when isolated, (no evo), 425 isolation range. You didn't even need to evolve this to delete people. This was when instagibin' and damage creep wasn't something. Evolved? Tank'zix wasn't cool. missing % health damage. Enough said. over 2.0+ ad scaling isolated.

W- Lower cd, when evolved this thing applied passive. Basically even more free damage, crazy wave clear and poke. You used to max this first in the mid lane. Also you could use this mid air, which is basically animation cancelling.

E- 80% ad scaling. This shit in the old days did damage.

R- 50% damage reduction during it. Nuff said. But guess what. You didn't evolve this shit cause WEQ was much better.

Also, the duration when upgrading the ult was still 1 second. It's one of the things I still miss, having the 1 second stealth bursts.

Back in ye olden days when most of you were still in your diapers, Kha'Zix got gutted so hard that he was considered the most useless champ in existence. I believe it was somewhere in Season 4 or 5 where his Isolation was so garbage it might as well not exist. Of course he's better now, but it's like saying Olaf'd. It means being gutted into something more worthless than an used condom.

Well people called him trash, but he wasn't exactly trash. He lost his

Q- Missing % health damage, unevolved became much weaker, but his evolved damage became much greater. W-can't be used mid air, no longer applies passive when evolved. E- 20% ad scaling instead of 80. R- 2 seconds 3 times instead of 50% reduced damage during it.

That's pretty much what he lost.

no i believe he means patch 4.9, where Kha's Q got gutted so hard it dealt less dmg than an auto at rank 1.

I think it was only when he had less than a certain amount of AD at rank 1 (the AD threshold w took till early-midgame to reach). Anyways, out was even harder to jungle and clear with him then. Lee Sin being really popular didn't help. And yeah, top Zix couldn't compete with anything.

He reliably got that lead though. That isn't a video of an isolated incident it was very frequent. I saw a couple of games where a Kha got a penta in about 5 seconds with almost no gold lead. Yes it took skill but kha played right would delete teams quickly back in the day.
