Does solo que rank reward players based on skill?

I have to ask this because I have been demoted 8 times and 90% of the games. My score was at less an A or higher. The whole system it use now does not feel like it rewards players for their skill. More of it rewards players for a game of russian roulette. Queing up hoping you will only get one round in the chamber and 4 empty ones. Some times you get 5 rounds in the chamber and loose because everyone in your team is doing bad.

At less that how the reward for winning system feels like. I can do amazing and loose. Which of course end up punishing me for the lost. Even if there was nothing I could do to save the game. I can do terrible and win the game. This lead to me being rewards even though I might have been the worse player in that match. It just does not feel right the the game has a champion rating system. Yet the rank system is using an outdated win/loose system.
