Why did Riot throw away league of legends lore?

Now when you look at the new lore they are making. They pretty much have thrown away the Rune War, The League of Legends which is funny as it what the game was named after. Which this also effects many champions lore.

I am confused why they are getting rid of the good older lore for not as good lore like Azir. Sorry riot the old lore of Cass, Nasus, Renekton, and Xerath was better. Sivir lore was pretty bad but the civil war in Shurima was cool. Shame you dropped it for the chickens lore that just laugh able.

Oh oh are you going change the games name to. "This is a place holder tell we retcon the lore again?" Honestly the game is good but the fact the lore no longer matches the lore. You might as well stop righting lore.

The old lore was badly written, inconsistent and not really expandable. All they really dropped was the institute of war, because it was just bad deus ex machina and a way of explaining the existence of the game. Disconnecting game from lore completely solved a lot of problems, and for the most part, very little changed. Rune wars are not retconned?

Its simple: Champions like Bard Kindred AurelionSol TahmKench Aatrox have no place in the old lore.

Old nasus was better? You're telling me that lazy rip from another world demi god thingy is better? Old Bildgewater was better? Azir aint even old lore....

Old lore advocate are all brain dead with a stick shoved up their ass, that's just a fact now.

Uhm you know the rune war is still a thing. In fact we know now more about it than before as Ryzes lore finally clarifies what kind of runes were used in these wars and what kind of disasters they've caused(whole land masses were completely erased)

Civil war in shurima?There was never one. The only Shurima lore in the old lore was basically "its a desert with pyramids,a few champs are from there and Nasus likes to chill there",that was it.

Also you say the old lore of Renekton was better?His old lore was among the worst lores in the whole game. I mean he turned evil and mad because he met a lot of evil people,which really sounds like a filmsy excuse to make him evil(i mean come on if Renekton kills all the evil people trying to reach the library,then how many would be stupid enough to even go there?),not to mention that his old lore left him imprisoned,with nowhere to go and pretty much no way to continue his story.

What I am saying people is ok as the current lore. Champions like Ahri , Jax , Kayle , Maokai , Morgana do not fit in the game as the summon lore is now gone. The league of legends is gone. So summons rift and in fact the game does not even fit it own lore.

I am more trying to say why did riot throw away the lore about summoners and league of legends.
