Let's talk about Pyke ultimate

I think that Pyke is quite balanced execpt for his ultimate : It's a darius ult on a support which has :

  • CDR on takedowns
  • AOE damage
  • Bigger range than Darius ult
  • Grants gold to him and his ADC

The problem with this is that he will have much more Gold than other supports which gives him an important advantage against enemy's support. I think that his ult should only give kill to his ADC and it should not be able to reset too.

Consider he has probably to build like an assassin which cost MUCH more gold than support items, so hitting the gold mechanic might not be the best idea.

Agree with Eclairius, also we should mention he's more of an assassin designed to be Viable support, not the other way around.

Like, he'll be a great support but he'll lack the gold necessary to function as a good assassin in Mid-Game due to being that role in the first place.

Also i should mention his Ultimate will reset, but it won't stay reset, "When a champion dies in the X, the last ally to assist also gains full kill gold and kill credit, and Pyke can instantly use Death from Below again for a short period of time." meaning he ccan use it multiple times in a row but can't just use it then save it for later when he get's the reset. Also, the range doesn't matter because Darius deals true damage with his which is much more powerful since you can't build against it.

I can agree with you on giving gold to the ADC, this basically translates 1 kill into 2 which is horrifying, so basically if your planning on taking Caitlynn or Lucian bot lane with their great early games, pyke is probably an amazing support for them.

You did make some good points, but I have to add another quite unpleasing thing about his ult: Even if he doesnt kill the target it gets reset! Meaning that if he ults, e.g. a Sivir who would die but has her E up, he still gets the reset and that Sivir will still die. So basically you have no way to dodge the ult except for maybe a Flash, that I do not know.

Tl;dr: His ult is too massive, undodgeable, just too strong imo

Let's not.

You never played him. Nobody has any clue how strong or weak he is.

His ult is not that big actually. Yeah you have to kill or have an enemy get killed in the X for the reset bit ive seen (and have done myself) many people already mistime the execute and not get the reset. Also its a fixed location if you dont get the teleport ult. Its fairly easy to just move out of the actually X and not get hit by it. Though i feel like it will need a small nerf to how the ratios are on the ult so you cant execute someone whos at 900-1200 hp like it is now when its maxed. The main issue i have with how his passive works. Hp being converted into Ad is a bit strong and i feel need a small nerf to it.
