When can we expect reasonable matchmaking for high ranked players in normals?

I don't give a damn if it takes another two minutes to find a match; I want games that don't feel like they were determined from the start.

If I'm playing ranked, I'm up against players who know exactly what they're doing, and playing with people who are of a similar skill level.

If I'm playing normals, I'm playing with silvers and against plats, since that's how it averages out.

I get a better experience in ARAM than I do in normals.

The matchmaking system shits out and throws together any players it can find after 3-4 minutes, and you end up with a game full of Diamond and Master players with two solo queued Silver players thrown in for shits and giggles.

Which you would know if you were high ranked. Which you're not. I'm not sure why you're even posting in a topic that you have no knowledge about.

Ranked MMR =/= to Normal MMR

Most High Elo players run ranked more often then they run in normal, That makes their NORMAL MMR hit a stand still while their RANKED MMR is either rising or dropping. You can be in Bronze in ranked and end up facing a challenger in normal's because it is a different system.

I am Silver 3 in ranked but you know what I face in normals? Mainly Gold and Plat players, why? Because my NORMAL MMR IS NOT MY RANKED MMR. I have faced quite a few diamond players, the occasional master and one challenger in my entire time playing this game. Now why would I be paired up against them? Ohh I dont know, maybe because NORMAL MMR =/= RANKED MMR.

[sg-lulu] I dont know what is so hard to understand about that. It is really simple Normal MMR =/= Ranked MMR.

I'm not saying I don't understand the system.

I'm saying the system needs changing since it does a horrible job of matchmaking for anybody with a high rank.

Most Diamond ranked players also have high normal MMR, because you don't reach the skill level needed to make Diamond in just ranked games. I have 58% win rate over ~1100 normal games. My normal MMR is very high and my games are usually full of other Diamond players, and I experience random unskilled Gold and Silver players thrown onto either team.
