Riot's malfunctioning servers

Just recently I played a game where the loading screen was taking a lot of time to load. I decided to relog. And so I did. I went back to the loading screen, it loaded normally, but when I got to the game, 10 minutes had already passed. Now I am certain leaverbuster caught me and that my teammates will report me for afk. But the thing is that I checked my connection and it was 100% fine, so If I get a penalty for being afk, it technically (if not literally) won't be my fault. So my point is: RIOT FIX YOUR DAMN SERVERS

a vast majority of problems are not client side but instead the fault of the middle man(your ISP), but riot has no way of interacting with this as the ISP changes the route your network traffic takes depending upon what is cheapest

I believe some of these routes almost or completely bypass popular server traffic locations

and there is always the possibility that a minute amount of damage exists in the servers that they run on, hence the new one located in Chicago

That was actually pretty helpful, thanks for the info.

I've had this happen before. Everyone will sit at 100% in the loading screen, and eventually I'll just close LoL and try to log back in.

I've been 7-14 minutes late to a game before because of it (it has happened multiple times). I think LeaverBuster knew it was a glitch because it never gave me a penalty.

The servers are actually better right now than I can ever remember. No ping spikes or instability since a week after the move.

When a game doesn't load it is caused by something client side. They should have a way of letting you know when you have crashed but unfortunately they don't.

kinda funny, on my end the exact opposite is true. The servers worked perfectly for one week then ping started spiking like crazy, even late at night like 1 or 2 am

most of the problems are actually the fault of the middle man, the internet service provider, but as they are all a monopoly over their service, the company will run whatever is cheapest.

Riot currently has one of the largest networking traffics in the world as one of the most popular, long lasting games in the world, so naturally, network traffic is heavier on the servers and more expensive for the ISP to provide a direct route to
