Depends on how you think about it. I've won games where the obvious choice was to surrender, so if I had actually gone through with that surrender I would've lost LP in comparison.

The OP is comparing a loss from surrendering and a loss from your nexus blowing up.

Comparing a loss that should have happened but didn't to a loss from a surrender is just silly. It's literally comparing a win against a loss.

sometimes surrendering is fine, but sometimes it is worth fighting through a tough one. Especially if someone on your team is in promos.

Also, if you plan on playing back to back games and your winrate is above 50%, then by calculations you are losing LESS Lp

THE POINT IS: IF YOU FORFEIT A MATCH YOU WILL LOSE THE EXACT SAME AMOUNT OF LP AS IF YOU HAD LOST IT WITHOUT FORFEITING!

THERE IS NO EXTRA LP LOSS FOR SURRENDERING LIKE SOME PLEBS BELIEVE.
