Blind pick worsenes toxicity, makes people rage or even afk.

An average Champion Select chat in blind pick:

  • Shen: "I said first top".
  • Darius: "fk you, I said first".
  • Shen: "report Darius".
  • Darius: "report Shen".
  • Ryze: "Top or feed";.
  • Shen: "ok, 3 top".
  • Ryze: "I troll". THE GAME STARTED.
  • Ryze: "player disconnected".

Does anyone enjoy Blind pick more then Draft pick?

A lof of plaers in Blind Mode usualy insta-lock champions they want to play, spread negativity and leave theyr team mates confused, angry.

Blind pick should be removed, becouse it would drasticaly improve Queue lenght.

Draft pick Queue lenght are insanely long, I pretty often have to wait +20 min, even if it's normal and I don't even want to talk if I'm trying to play in the morning. Usualy, in Blind Pick, I get matched at around 1 minute and it means that apretty huge part of comunity still prefer it. If I chose Draft Pick, I usualy have to wait for an average of 10-15 mins. Riot is leaving me no choise, but to start maining support atm...

They are giving Blind Pick the New Champ Select. This will completely solve your problem.

There's never a time for the release of things. It's always 'soon', so you just have to wait until they're ready to release it.

Unfortunately I can't remember which Rioter said it, I just remember it was in response to people wanting team builder back since a lot of them didn't like draft pick, but playing blinds meant they would have to fight over their role. I'll try seeing if I can find it and link you to it unless someone else finds it.

PBE FIRST, NORMAL DRAFT SOON AFTER, RANKED AND BLIND PICK LATER DURING THE 2016 SEASON New champ select hits PBE first, and will go live in normal draft during an upcoming patch. We'll keep you posted on all queue changes as they approach, and we're excited to hear your feedback!
