Since physical damage is needed to take structures down fast

Shouldn't magic damage dealers be dominant in team fights? As it stands right now, ADCs take the crown in all areas. Take objectives? ADCs. Kill champions? ADCs. I'm not really sure if it's intended or not and if it is a good design.

its not intended lol.

it goes against everything in their game to allow adcs to do this much.

the balance team is just really stupid so shit like this happens quite often with other classes as well.

  1. Magic damage dealers are really good in fights many have aoe abilities that can win fights alone.
  2. Adcs are always going to be the main focus because they are the main form of dps they can keep consistent damage while mages and magic damage dealers are based off of burst power.
  3. Objectives are easily taken by mages also like Twisted fate and Ziggs and Ekko.
  4. giving mages that team fight power and turret taking power would make it very hard to play against because how much the game would be focused around keeping them away from fights as well as turrets

Maokai with 40% cdr with attack speed runes and a item 3025

can legit be tanky enough to stand and tank the damage as he takes the turret

Magic dealers should be dominant mid game when they get their ability's leveled and power spike from less items then adcs, They should remain relevant by being able to soften up the enemy team comp, burst a squishy, or generally cause chaos with cc. As a class I like more diversity in the role and for them to break rules of the role more then other classes, and for the most part they kind do. We got off tank mages, burst, dot, hard carry's, soft carry's, roamers, pushers, Artillery, utility, CC, and more.
