Riot hasn't released any easy/simple champions in a while and its having a negative effect on balan

In the past there were champions of all levels of skill and rather then balance around the whole community they balanced around skill levels meaning harder champs = lower WR. Zed for example being near 50% was considered overpowered because of the skill it took to use him. Now he is at 50% and its fine? Now instead of having all the easy champions at the top of the WR charts, we now have w/e is 50%+ WR and are hard champions to master instantly become hyper meta.

This problem them becomes twofold where there are people who are playing new champions when their skill level is not there yet simply because the easy ones are weak / there are a small pool of them.

To fix this Riot needs to go back to the frame of balancing and start creating more easy champions.

Pyke, medium skill curve easy to master. Nunu rework, easy, cheesy and fun to play.

Outside of Zoe, they have released only straightforward champions recently. You can always play older unreworked champs, we don't need more volibears/annie in the game...

Pyke is very simple.

A champion having a higher complexity curve to master does not mean they're not simple to pick up.

Camille is quite easy to learn how to play but has the potential to do absurd stuff. Rakan has a pretty simple play pattern that can be enhanced when you combine it with his other skills.

If you're already familiar with this game, then you can learn to play pyke in a few minutes, literally.

easy champions ARE the most problematic and worst champions to balance though. Trundle Tryndamere MonkeyKing Garen DrMundo Jax Nasus MasterYi Singed Chogath arnt exactly paragons of good champion design.

Zed never was a high skill cap champion, he is a high skill ceiling champion. He also got only a 48% winrate and even the most experienced Zed players barely scratch a 54% winrate. Zed is doing poorly right now due to all the damage nerfs and tank buffs.

there are a small pool of them

No comment on your general point, but this makes no sense. If there are less champions in your arbitrary list of "simple" champions, then obviously that pool as a whole will be played less than those outside the pool. That isn't itself a problem; that would be the case even if every champion in the game had equal playrates.

They just need to bring back all pre reworked champions. Problem solved.

Players would come back as well.

I really don't understand the rational behind making harder champions to play more powerful. It pretty much negates the purpose of them being a harder champion to play.

How long a while are we talking? Because Kled is listed as easy on most tier lists and hes is quite good.

All of xayah’s complexity is in her positioning and general ADC mechanics. Otherwise she’s literally easier than Ashe

Rakan is also pretty simple

Kai’sa is super simple too because she’s just vayne but with less APM (same reaction speeds though)

They should just not rework champions. They took away all the "easy champs"
