Rant: matchmaking broken? snowballing broken? what gives?

Observation. In the previous two weeks only one good game. other games landslide victory. Either I am dominant. But not only me, also all the other people on my team. everybody doing great, maybe 1 person going even. OR, the other way. everybody lose badly. not just one person, several lanes, independently.
