Hi there!

Ok, so the purpose of this forum is exactly what the title describes, to help people set up their best line up possible heading into the next week of games. We've all experienced a moment where we are choosing between two players, not sure which one will have the better turn-out with regards to their current match-ups, their record, if their on a losing streak, new subs of the team, etc. This can now become a place where the fantasy community can help each other out with their rosters so that they are receiving their full potential each and every week. This can also be a place to discuss possible Add/Drop possibilites. Anyway, everyone can understand the purpose behind this forum now.

Just simply post a question about who you are deciding between, along with your reasonings behind why you should and shouldn't start them. Then hopefully a fellow fantasy community member will be able to respond and help you make your decision. Anyone can help out! Multiple opinions and beliefs are better than just one! Remember, Strength in numbers.

Had to make a tough call to bench Quas (TL) after an awful 2nd week as well as Rush (TIP) who has been underperforming. Was also able to pickup Steeelback who has been really consistent this split so far. We'll see if it pans out!

That helps alot. I had quas as my starter since week 1 and have been going back and forth if i should switch him out with zion.

Definitely Zion imo, he has performed pretty well so far now that they don't have to hold him out anymore.

I ran Freddy, Steelback, Nyph, and Rekkles last week against Xmithe and UoL(among others). This roster looks very familiar.

On the first week, I ended up grabbing Huni, Steelback, and Reignover off draft. No one in my draft picked up Fnatic other than Yellowstar, which made them easy pickups; grabbed them as soon as I saw the Fnatic/Elements game. Right now, my big questions are Huni vs Fredy, Reignover vs IWDominate, and Bjerg vs XiaoWeiXiao. All solid choices though, so I'm expecting good things this week.

I'm struggling in the Toplane between Zion/Dyrus (both have rather 'easy' matchups this week) also I'm kinda unsure if Hai or XiaoWeiXiao (TIP) in Mid. My starting Jungler is Rush(TIP), tho I'm kinda unsure about this as they face Gravity and TSM this week. (Helios (WFX) would be the Alternate) My flex pick is Altec (WFX) as so far he been consistent.. any tips for me? :P

The Zion/Dyrus choice is tough, only because we've seen Zion for one week. He really didnt have time to practice with his team before hand for week 2, so it threw off his team dynamic. I would hold off on putting in Zion in for just one more week until we can tell for sure how he is holding up in comparison to CLG. I believe he will be at 100% withing the next few weeks. But for now, Stick with Dyrus for this week. TSM is playing really well right now, and you should expect that to continue for a while now.

For the mid lane, I would say stick with XioWeiXiao. We all know C9 is an incredible team and we all know wat they can do, but they have been under performing recently. And while Hai is the leader of the team, his mechanics is not the reason he is known for, but rather his shot calling and long term dynamic. Where as XioWeiXiao, he was Most Valued Rookie during the summer split due to his INSANE mechanics. The only thing holding him back right now is the team communication and dynamic. He likes to play aggressive and take risks with his flashy plays; Sometimes they wont work, BUT when they do, he is unstoppable.

(Now this paragraph is gonna sound like im completely undermining what I wrote above, but its the safer thing to do XD ) I as well have TIP Rush in my roster, but he has been underperforming thus far during the split, so Im gonna put him on the bench this week. Helios and winterfox have been performing very well as a team, and although they face TSM (Which should be a hard matchup) they too face a struggling DIG, which should be a win for them. I would put in helios this week.

Its to risky at the moment to run two or more members of TIP at the same time,* but if you rather put in hai over XioWeiXiao and then put in Rush as your jung*, you can do this as well if you want. But between the two TIP members, I see more potential with XioWeiXiao.

Great thread start!

I'm in a 6man, currently rooting for roccat with Nukeduck mid and vandeR support (don't have woolite). I believe roccat will have a comeback this week as they're up against weaker teams. Dyrus is on top being boring but steady and Shook in the jungle should perform well.

My tricky pick is ADC: CLG Altec or GV Cop? Altec ain't got his precious Imagine until w.4 and Cop could disappoint vs TiP and CLG, leaving me with the long face.

Altec all day long, yes he doesn't have Imagine yet but he has the skill to win lane and dominate the game on his own regardless of his support whereas Cop is just too unproven and dependant on those around him to do well.

No...Just no! Cop is by far one of the better AD Carries! He played exceptionally on curse last year. He Is a consistent AD Carry, There is just a lack of synergy in Gravity right now because they are a newly formed team!

My Main problem at the moment is whether i should start Balls or Cris.. Cris has been solid on Coast, even though the team has gotten off to a rough start, but Balls has always been a solid top laner too though. Im leaning towards Cris because I'm not sure how Liquid is going to do after being trounced last week. Also not sure if i should start Bunny Fufuu or Sheep, Sheep has an easier week and has scored more so far but Fufuu has been playing better overall, as well as Gravity as a whole. Leaning towards Sheep because i loved him when he was on XDG, and Coast has played the type of games where the players get a lot of points, they just end up throwing. Im new to the fantasy stuff, so if my thinking is off on any of this i would appreciate help :D

Coast has played 4 of the bottom NALCS teams in the first two weeks. Cloud 9 has played 4 of the top teams. Although Cris has outscored Balls in the first two weeks, I would not give much weight to that information because of the discrepancy in matchups. I would choose Balls for two reason. First, Cloud 9 has an easier week coming up than Coast. Second, Balls crushes Cris in the long term statistical history.

Thanks for the tips, Like I said im new to this, And it was a bit of a toss-up for me. Im probably going to go with what you suggested. I keep forgetting to look at the teams that they have already played as well as what they are doing this week. Won the first 2 weeks, just sneaking by both times.

Congratz on the 2-0! The first couple of weeks are always the hardest, because no one knows which teams are gonna be hot or not. Thats why is all about making proper adjustments to your roster based off the data you've got. And remember... #AWinsAWin

Coast will be playing against C9 and Liquid this week, and I personally think both of those teams will bounce back. I don't have any actual data to support that, but C9 has already proven to be a top tier team in NA and Liquid had a great week 1. They just need some time to adjust to their final lineup.

Buuuut I'm totally biased, cuz I'm starting Balls this week. I do believe that Gravity is on the rise, and their bot lane is definitely one of their strongest points. So of the two fluffy animals... I'd have to go with Bunny.

The only thing im really scared about with Bunny is the fact that they are playing against CLG, and CLG's laneswaps are just so good that GV wont be able to keep up with them. Im going against a guy with 4 people from elements and elements as their team, who scored 300 points last week. Probably going to take your advice anyways, and go with bunny, but its not as close as the Balls vs Cris one. Thanks for the help, no matter how they actually work :D

Here's my team so far

I'm wondering if I should put Svenskeren in, even though I foresee a tough game vs Elements this week. If I do put him in, I don't know if I should swap out Reignover or Pobelter for him, because very few people run anything other than Mid/AD in the flex spot.

Both Fanatic and SK have become the powerhouses of the EU LCS. They both are strong choices and you cannot go wrong. How were you able to get BOTH??? :0

But Fnatic as been stomping the Fantasy Leagues in respect to their points due to their style of play. Right now, Fanatic has been single-handily carrying fantasy teams everywhere with their insane average points per game. (Granted, there have only been 2 weeks, but this is the data we have to go off of.) That being said, I say continue to ride the fanatic Hype Train while its still running. I believe that SK will consistently be a strong team throughout the entire split, but Fanatic is on fire right now and no one seems to be able to stop them. I say stick with reignover this week.

Quas or Zionspartan?

I'm thinking that Quas (and Team Liquid) will bounce back after they have some time to improve their synergy with Piglet as well as due to their easier week (last week was TSM and C9. And even though CLG's week is also relatively light, Zionspartan didn't score too many points in their two wins last week.

As of the moment, CLG is one of the top teams in NA. Zion, just like piglet, entered week 2 with minimal practice with CLG as well. I feel that CLG is playing more of a cohesive team at the moment and should be able to do well this week, and that Zion's practice with the team will improve his synergy. That being said, it will be interesting to see if Team Liquid will rebound this week. We all know Team Liquid is a strong team, but last week with piglet entering the picture kinda threw off the dynamic. I Believe Team Liquid will become a force to be reckoned with later on in the split, but they need to now reach that point with their starting roster (Which may take a week or two). THAT BEING SAID, if there was a week for TL to bounce back in, its this week. DIG is very week at the moment, and Coast's games tend to be longer with more kills and deaths (Which equals more points :D)

So I believe Zionspartan is the safer pick this week, where as quas is more of a calculated risk. Once we see how these two play again after this week, this decision should become A LOT easier.

My main problem is whether to start pobelter or keane in the mid lane this week. Pobelter has been solid starting for me the first two weeks, and hes been really pretty consistent, but I question how well winterfox is going to do as a team this week as they seem like they might be falling off a little bit. On the other hand, keane has been playing consistenly lately as has gravity, and I think that they are going to have a strong week but I'm just not sure whether one option will really be better than the other. Help would be greatly appreciated.

I say stick with Keane this week. Gravity has been performing really well in both Fantasy points and the Actual LCS. Gravity is facing a shaky TIP, which can lead to sloppier game play (Which can lead to longer games, more kills, and more points ;D ) Not to say Pobelter isnt playing well, because he is. They're both strong choices, but between the two, Im leaning more towards Keane this week.

My main problem is Fenix/Cop Flex because fenix had a great week 1 and a very weak week 2 and cop was consistent all 2 weeks, but Fenix gonna have a easy week 3 rather then Cop. Any tips pls? will give a freeitem 2009

They absolutely crushed week 1, but with adding piglet last week, it altered the team synergy a little (Keith was a god week 1). The way I see it, Cop is the safer pick here where as Team liquid is more of a Calculated Risk. I say hold off for one more week with fenix and see where Team Liquid stands after this next round of games. Cop is playing consistently well, and thats sometimes the best data to run with.

I'm really on the fence as to whether or not I should start Impact or Fredy this week. Impact went full ham on Team 8 last week, but Fredy scored 44 points. They both have tough match-ups this week so I really don't know who to choose.

SK are one of the top tier teams in EU at the moment, and they are playing very, very well. Especially Fredy. Where as impact, although he had a solid game vs Team 8, he is still trying to adjust and find his footing in NA and with his team. I believe once TIP gets going, he WILL be one of the best top laners in NA... but TIP needs to get their synergy going before that happens XD. I believe Fredy is the way to go here on this week and wait to see how TIP handles these next set of matches.

Basing my squad on TSM, C9, and Liquid this week. Three pretty strong NA teams with fairly easy schedules. SK and Element are on my subs as they're playing each other on Friday.

Im trying to decide who to put in as my flex pick. I have Fox (SK) and Piglet (TL). SK has been on the rise and doing very well but Fox himself doesnt get that many points. And Piglet had a bad first week but looks like they have a easier week this week. And Fox does have to play Elements this week. So should i go with the safer pick but knowing he wont get that many points. Or take the risk with Piglet cuz if he does well im sure he will explode.

This one, I believe, depends up on YOUR matchup specifically. If your opponent is running more than one person on TL, feel free to put piglet in this week. If he isn't, then I'd say play it safe for another week and go with Fox. SK is playing very well and they should continue to do so. Now, the reason why I say to put in piglet if your opponent has more than two players on TL is the following:

If TL does do well this next week, most likely everyone on the team will get a good number of points. In fantasy, however, usually the ADC gets the most points in fantasy. So even though he would have two players getting a solid number of points, you supposedly would have the highest scoring player on TL.

But lets say that TL has a week similar to week 2, then he would have two men on his roster that would be scoring really low, where as you would only have one that scored low (still giving you an advantage). Also, if there was a week for TL to bounce back in, this would be the one.

Moral of the story... again: If your opponent is running more than one person on TL, feel free to put piglet in this week. If he isn't, then I'd say play it safe for another week and go with Fox.

Ya that makes sense. And something i forgot to say before. I have Froggen as my starting Mid. And since they play each other this week that would change the scoring. Would that change your opinion? My team Huni (FNC), SVENSKEREN (SK), Froggen (EL), Wildturtle (TSM), Yellowstar (FNC), Flex (Piglet, ,Fox), Fanatic Team Other Subs IWDOMINATE (TL), and Nyph (EL)

I would still put fox in your flex, even though they do face each other. Personally, I believe SK will win against EL. (If you want more info on that matchup, there was a response in one of the earlier comments made by Prof McWonderful that breaks down the SK vs El matchup). Also, It not necessarily a bad thing if one of your members faces another. If the SK and EL game turns into a bloodbath type of game (Which there is always a chance), then you have three players that will score a good amount of points. The worst case senario is EL winning, still giving you points on froggen, while having both svenkeren and Fox getting you minimal. But then they still have a game after that to break the deficit . Stick with fox still!

is anyone having any issues trying to swap this week? i wanted to swap my mid laners but they are locked this week and their is only 1 day left until eu locks. any help would be great

Wanted to see if anyone had any advice on my scenario. My two supports I have are Aphromoo and NRated and I'm debating on which to play. In my personal opinion I would normally play Aphromoo week to week but this week NRated has a much higher expected points. I'm torn because SK is going against H2K which statically this season should be an easy win, but then playing Elements which should be a big challenge. It is worth considering as well that NRated is supporting Forgiven the (self-proclaimed) best ADC there is. On the other hand CLG are play Gravity and Winterfox which aren't the best teams but aren't pushovers either. I already have another SK starting Svenskeren and my opponent this week has both Nyph and Froggen of Elements. With is in mind I understand playing NRated is a gamble based on if they can beat Elements.

TL:DR I would normally play Aphromoo as support but was curious if people think I could get more points this week by playing NRated.

Any advice is appreciated :)

I personally am a BIG fan of aphromoo. If I had to credit CLG success to someone, apart from link superb play, It would be him. As a support player myself, he is just soo good at setting up plays, and he is always involved with a team fight (High kill participation = more points for you). He also is a skill shot god, allowing CLG to get the snowball rolling in the early game.

Just as a future note: Dont pay too much attention to the expected points. (Just are too unrelyable to go off of. Better to use a teams' prior statistics, their matchups, and YOUR current matchup to determine who to start).

My enemy Team this week is very strong. mid: Impact, jungle: Shook, mid: febiven, adc: rekkles, supp: yellowstar, flex: woolite, fnatic Last game I thought Team Liquid would be a good pick, I won VERY CLOSE and I'm scared if their bad performing holds on.., so i set on the unicorns in top,jungle and adc. do you think they will do it better? their performing was amazing if you look at their estimated points and on the performing the most people were expecting. MYM should be easyer than Roccat, but can they continue collect points against both? I also have FOx in mid, Lemonnation as supp and steelback as flex with the team sk gaming. do I have any chance? :D and can anyone estimate me a better team to set on than the unicorns? I can go all or nothing, thats no problem, but to win against a team like THIS could be very very very difficult. After the last game with xspecial im not sure to use lemonnation now, because he doesnt look to perform that well for a competition against these beasts.

The key thing about UOL is to not let their record scare you off. After 6 games, Vardags is ranked 3rd in average fantasy points per game (tied with rekkles), kikis is 4th in the jungler position (Pretty much on par with both svenskeren and shook), and Vizicsacsi is 4th in the top lane position, (right along side Zionsparten). UOL has a relatively easy schedule for them this week in comparisons to the first three. Expect UOL to do well. And on a side note... EU is kicking NA's a** right now in fantasy points haha.

hey, I have balls as my top lane and Hauntzer as my backup top. All of the other major tops are gone and i don't know if i have a strong enough top lane to hold up as i have a strong opponent this week. Any advice?

My opponent is starting impact top, Jankos Jg, Froggen Mid, Doublelift adc, Nrated Sup, FORG1VENGRE flex, and SK gaming as their team. I Have Balls top, Reignover jg, Bjergsen mid, steelback adc, aphromoo sup, nukeduck flex, and cloud9 as my team. my backups are Hauntzer, Airwaks, and team clg

Even though balls has had a couple of rough weeks, Stick with balls again for week 4. C9 is up against both DIG and WFX. DIG, although coming off a win on TL, im not totally convinced that will carry over into their games this next weekend. And WFX had a very poor showing this past weekend. In all honesty, I was shocked about WFX performance this past weekend :/

C9 are finally starting to find their groove, and as mentioned above, have a easy schedule this week.

CLG is definitely they way to go They already have proven themselves to be one of NA's top teams. Where as C9 is just beginning to find their stride.

In all honesty, its not good fantasy strategy to be running two teams on your roster, because the majority of your points are going to come from your individual players performances. So I would actually swap C9 for another player, maybe a back up adc?

C9's points and TSM's points are swapped for some reason.
