Spring 2016 Starters Discussion + Week 2 Analysis (Who Do You Start Week 3?)

Hi there!

Ok, so the purpose of this forum is exactly what the title describes, to help people set up their best line up possible heading into the next week of games. We've all experienced a moment where we are choosing between two players, not sure which one will have the better turn-out with regards to their current match-ups, their record, if their on a losing streak, new subs of the team, etc. This can now become a place where the fantasy community can help each other out with their rosters so that they are receiving their full potential each and every week. This can also be a place to discuss possible Add/Drop possibilities. Anyway, everyone can understand the purpose behind this forum now.

Just simply post a question about who you are deciding between, along with your reasonings behind why you should and shouldn't start them. Then hopefully a fellow fantasy community member will be able to respond and help you make your decision. Anyone can help out! Multiple opinions and beliefs are better than just one! Remember, Strength in numbers.

** So! Who are my major sleepers for week 3?**

  1. EL

This is not just because they had a major week 2. We all know by now that just because a team went off one week does not mean they will do it again, (Unless they're from Immortals). But EL has been having a very strong showing in fantasy for both these past few weeks. Granted, they had a very easy schedule, but what these two weeks tell us looking forward is As long as EL have an easy week, they are going to explode. (Very similar to that of Copenhagen Wolves last split.) They face UOL and OG this week. The reason why I think UOL will excel again this week is because UOL's jungler, Diamond, is no longer playing for them due to visa issues. AND THATS HUUUUUUGE. One could make the argument that Diamond was the best player on their roster. Now with him gone, UOL will have to adjust fast.

With regards to OG, they are really off to a slow start, and their week 2 performance didnt regain any confidence in me. They still are slow to adapt to both this new meta and POE's playstyle, and its showing. EL looks hot right now, and that is important to have heading into this team.

  1. G2...Again

G2 once again has another very promising week (vs. UOL, FNC). Same reasoning for UOL matchup as listed above, and teams tend to score well against this Fnatic team win or lose. I think G2 is one of the upper, middle-of-the-pack teams right now, and they should be A-ok again this week. Expecially Trick. He is their top scorer on their team, and UOL's jungler is gonna feel his pressure come this week.

  1. DIG

DIG is an intresting story so far this split. With only two weeks into the split, they have shown they can kick some serious ass when facing lower level teams. Their week 1 was dominating, their week two was ehh. But in each of those weeks, whenever they faced lower lever teams, they were able to capitalize VERY well against these teams. They face TIP and C9. TIP was a completely different team compared to week 1, but I think the game between these two teams will be close, but more importantly, BLOODY. And as we all know, BLOODY=POINTS=HAPPY FANTASY OWNER

And with their game vs C9, It's actually is very simple. **If they start bunny, Congrats on the free win. If they start hai, this maaaay be a harder match to win. ** Keep an eye out for which one they start, because if they are starting bunny, make sure you get a DIG player on your Roster.

The "FUNTASY" League

For all of those who are participating in a Funtasy League, Here comes your new, week 3 constraint! So far, we've had...

Week 1: Who ever had the most kills won. Week 2: The Checkerboard.

Week 3 is a win-condition style week! This week, Which ever team accumulates THE MOST ASSISTS wins the week! There is no roster constraint.

Interesting Ideas:

#Start Gate as Support From what I've heard, Gate might actually be filling in for Feng in toplane. That automatically makes him a very interesting pick since he'll be more in a potentially higher-point position (IMT notwithstanding - Adrian's a monster).

I'm not too sure who to start.

Cabo vs. Vizi is my biggest tossup Xmithie vs Rush is also somewhat of a tossup, but I believe in CLG this week, plus Xmithie's always been pretty reliable Febiven I'm like 99% sure to start lol Less sure about Hjarnan but available subs aren't plentiful kaSing... is interesting. On one hand, it's kaSing, but on the other, Gate might not be playing Support, but Top instead. Food for thought.

The Flex position honestly I'm pretty torn. On one hand, Rush has always been C9's most reliable pointmaker after Jensen, but because of the whole Bunny/Hai thing I'm not too sure I want to start either of them.

On the other hand, I don't know if quadruple dipping into a single team (in this case, Vitality) would be a good idea. And finally, there's Mash. He's interesting for sure, but so is MrRallez. Ehhhh.

Hey guys,

Was wondering if anyone could provide some opinions about my roster especially for my top lane and team spots.

Top: Soaz or Impact or Odoamne Jungle: Reignover Mid: Pobelter or Febiven ADC: Doublelift Support: Adrian Flex: Rekkles or Emperor TEAM: TSM or H2K or Origen

Also, if anyone could give me their opinion on the H2K vs Vitality game? I personally think H2K are gonna take it out now that Forgiven is back to his former self, but IDK if they wil get a lot of points. Any opinions welcome.

Roster Tweaking

Jungle: Rush or Dardoch Flex: GBM, Mash, or Apollo Team: Vitality, CLG, or Fnatic

I think the safest choice would be Rush, GBM, Vitality but i also wanna board that full roster Impulse hype train. Also Rush hasn't been able to get his MVP level of points due to the curse of BunnyFuFuu, but Liquid isn't looking too hot either.

Nural, one silly question, what's your take on GATE (TIP)? He's listed as a support but sometimes plays top and can even play mid.

Players: Altec, Shiphtur

I cant tell which would be a better start. Thoughts?

Also, do I put Gate into my support spot over KiwiKid?

Note: mr rallez is up but I'm happy with my mid adc n flex not too sure on team jg top. I have mithy as support who I think is consistent. I don't know between trick or xmithie as he is consistent but trick is sleeper? Top lane impact is my main main but dig have an easier week :/ thoughts??
