Hi there!

Ok, so the purpose of this forum is exactly what the title describes, to help people set up their best line up possible heading into the next week of games. We've all experienced a moment where we are choosing between two players, not sure which one will have the better turn-out with regards to their current match-ups, their record, if their on a losing streak, new subs of the team, etc. This can now become a place where the fantasy community can help each other out with their rosters so that they are receiving their full potential each and every week. This can also be a place to discuss possible Add/Drop possibilites. Anyway, everyone can understand the purpose behind this forum now.

Just simply post a question about who you are deciding between, along with your reasonings behind why you should and shouldn't start them. Then hopefully a fellow fantasy community member will be able to respond and help you make your decision. Anyone can help out! Multiple opinions and beliefs are better than just one! Remember, Strength in numbers.

Week 6 Analysis

As I was looking back on weed 6, there really wasn't a whole lot that was really note worthy in my opinion. Were well into the Spring split, And we've now have got a solid depiction of whose hot and whose not, thanks to week 6. However! There are a couple of things that stood out to me, And those can be found below!

For clarification:

Here's whose hot (In my opinion):

EU: FNC, H2K, GMB. NA: TSM, CLG, C9

  1. SK, while they had a very strong start to the split, they are beginning to struggle. They'v gone 1-3 in the past two weeks, and it obviously shows in the fantasy side of things. They now are about to face a FNC team who, if we remember, completely destroyed SK in their last head to head matchup. (And personally I believe that FNC are the favorites heading into that matchup.) Forgivne, however, was able to maintain a good presence in fantasy standings due to his "I WILL NOT DIE" strategy. (40 pts week 5, 33 pts week 6). So what does this all mean exactly? SK is turning into more of a safe team rather than a powerhouse team. What I mean by that is, An SK player wont be the player to Carry you to victory in a match-up, but they wont lose you it either. If you need to take a risk in order to win, SK isnt the type of team to take a risk on at the moment.

  2. (As you saw above), Im gonna go ahead and say C9 now is worthy of starting in your line-ups again. They have gone 5-1 the last 3 weeks, and now are reaching the magic number of 40 pts in fantasy scoring. (Both Hai and Sneaky maintained back to back 40 point weeks in week 5 and 6). **General Tip: 40, in my opinion, is the magic number as to when a player did well in fantasy that given week. ** C9 tends to struggle at the beginning of splits for some reason, but more often than not, there is a moment where they just click. And We've officially reached that moment, and now its time to cash in on it. They face TIP and DIG this week, and if C9 continues to play the way they've been playing, This should be another 2-0 week for them.

  3. Im gonna classify EL as sleepers this week. Disregarding the fact that EL went 1-1 last week, the addition of Krepo was a big step in the right direction for EL. Krepo's shot calling and decision making really was needed on the side of elements, giving them the confidence to go for some of those more gutsy plays. Yes, I know the SK game last week really doesn't support this, but he MYM game does. When EL is facing these Lower level teams, they usually aren't afraid to play a bit more aggressively. And EL this week face CW and UOL, which are both teams EL have won previously against. With now having the first weekend of games with Krepo under their belts, expect them to put up more of a fight, not to mention more points, this week.

I would put ryu instead of xiao. Impulse is going against C9 and Team Liquid. Going to a rough week for them just saying.

I agree with this. They both have been playing roughly the same, so I like H2K's matchups more here over TIP. Plus, TIP is still very unconsistent, where as H2K is undefeated for the past 6 games!

Keep Steeelback. He's not the best of his team, but his team racks tons of points and drag steeelback with him. He always finishes strong and steady. He might have an average week, but his average is still good.

I have both C9 and CLG, and I'm starting CLG. I'm confident that C9 will continue on their streak, so they're the safe pick. CLG have an easier week though (slightly) and have a tendency to score more points. I go for the risk, but it's only a few points difference.

Pick GMB-Edward. He scored consistantly well, even in the bad games. One of the most consistent support. Balls and Lemon do not have a tendancy to score a ton of points. I would pick only if nothing else! :P

Teams that are hot recently, H2K, CW, T8, GMB, TL... So a lot of these players could be a sleeper. Just look at their oppopnents and you might get a switch, even if it's just for one week... Also look at their last 2/3 weeks in the stats and see for yourself if they are consistently making good scores.

Well Keith is now benched. So I'd keep both of the adc you have already.

Team: CLG! CLG's schedule this week is super easy and should be two easy wins for them if they continue to play the way they've been playing.

Top: if wha you say is true about all of H2K being available, then ** put in Odoamne for your top**! The these this week is H2K being on fire. They are one of the teams to best right now, and should do really really well. Drop hauntzer and pick up Odoamne.

Hey there everyone! I'm facing the strongest team in my League right now, so I need lots of advice ;) My roster: Cabochard (GMB) Santorin (TSM) Febiven (FNC) Keith (TL) Lustboy (TSM) Fenix (TL) SK Gaming Bench: Diamond (GMB), Altec (WFX), Kasing (H2K)

His roster: ZionSpartan (CLG) Shook (EL) Bjergsen (TSM) Forg1ven (SK) Krepo (EL) WildTurtle (TSM) TSM Bench: Odoamne (H2K), XiaoWeiXiao (TIP), Bunny FuFuu (GV)

My opinions: Top: I'm fairly confident in **Cabochard **this week. He plays H2K and GIA this week, so points shouldn't be lacking. H2K is on fire as well as GMB, but GMB isn't afraid to go hard and get the fantasy points. GIA should be an easy win.

Jungle: I'm not positive on this one, because **Diamond **has been shining lately, but TSM play WFX and T8 this week. Assuming T8 doesn't wreck them like in week 1, **Santorin **shouldn't have a shortage of points. In regards to Diamond, see above. I'd also like to play Santorin because of my opponent's Bjerg and Turtle. If TSM does well, Santorin will help me keep up. If not, I can take the loss in jungle as opposed to his carries.

Mid: I expect the FNC-SK game to go as it did before, so I'm pretty set on keeping **Febiven **in. He is very consistent with points.

ADC: **Keith **is the obvious choice here. Only keeping Altec in case Keith has a hard week.

Support: My hardest decision here. **Lustboy **has the second highest average points per game for supports, but Kasing is right behind, and like I said earlier about TSM, he's good to have as a low-risk, high return position. However, **Kasing has performed extremely well the past couple weeks. H2K plays GMB and CW this week though. I would have won my last week if I had played Kasing (51 points). ** I'd really appreciate input on this decision.

Flex: Currently have **Fenix **in due to their expectedly easy week, but I do have **Fox **as an option. Fox has been my Flex all split, but he has kind of disappointed in points for a mid laner, and I can't risk him this week. Also open to suggestions here, though.

Team: Don't really have a choice here. I'm not too concerned playing SK.

You're solid from Top through Flex. Your reasoning for Santorin is spot on; matchups are important to consider. Since your opponent's big scorers are Bjerg and Turtle, you'll want in on those points in case they explode. If they don't, that's also a win for you. This is why I would encourage you to also run Lustboy. The same logic applies to him; you'll want his points most if your opponent scores high.

I understand why you want to keep SK, they've probably been a great team for you thus far, but this is the final stretch. There's three more weeks to go, you need to push for 1st, especially with skins on the line!

Every week from here on in, you need to go to the Add/Drop column for Teams and just choose who'll most likely go 2-0. The difference between a 2-0 team and an 0-2 team is much more pronounced than for players. A win automatically means 9-11 turrets, a couple dragons and a baron (since pushing base turrets are so hard) and of course +2 points for the match victory.

I bring this up because SK will probably lose to FNC. If there's another team out there that has a better chance of going 2-0 (there almost always is), take it. Let someone else take SK. It's ok. As long as you're active in trading teams, you'll always be able to expect 30-40 pts from your team.

Teams to look for this week are Cloud9, Fanatic, CLG, or Team Liquid. All these teams have a really good chance of going 2-0 this week. Even in an 8 man draft, one of these should be available if neither you nor your opponent own them, and you'll find 4-5 teams every week that will have an easier schedule, so trade often.

Good luck, I like your team more. Keep thinking your decisions through, be active, and you'll give yourself the best chance of winning every week. However, there's always luck involved, and upsets happen; don't let them upset you!

Hi, thanks so much for the reply! I feel a lot better about the matchup now, haha. The only teams available this week are: DIG, CW, GV, GIA, TIP, WFX, T8, CST, and MYM... I would think CW and GV are the next best? But even they will probably go 1-1, so is it worth trading for SK? My friend has UOL, and I could probably trade him for the week, is that the best option? Oh wow, I see what you mean when you say you have no choice here. Your bracket might just be a little more competitive than the brackets I'm used to playing in. I guess a pot of seven mystery skins will do that to you! In this case, I'd keep SK. While they may not be favorites vs. Fnatic, they have a better chance than any of these available teams of going 2-0. They are still a top team.

It's close, maybe UOL is the sleeper team you need for some clutch points. I don't think you can go wrong between SK and UOL this week, but in future weeks UOL has really tough matchups. This doesn't matter too much since you'd just switch them out for another team, but if your bracket is as competitive as it seems switching for a lower ranked team may be unwise.

So wondering if I should start, Keith or hjar. Hjar is going against Gambit and Wolves, both who I think even if H2K lose at least one, Hjar will still get points i believe. Keith though is going against Team 8 and Impulse. What do you guys think?

KEITH!!!. While keith has only been playing for 3 weeks, he has scored consistently 50+ points every week, not to mention TL is back on the rise. He should do well. Not to say Hjarnan wont, I just like Keith and his potential more this week.

Roster: Huni Reignover Febiven Steeelback Lemonnation Froggen Team Liquid

Subs: Krepo Shook Forgiven

I swap 'em around a lot, and even took out froggen for forgiven last week (which turned out to be the right choice), but this week is a weird one. Idk if I should take froggen out for forgiven again, and I should prolly trade shook away for a better team. But what are your guys' thoughts for this week?

What im going to say about the froggen and Forgivne decision is that Forgivne is the safer choice here, and that froggen is the risky one. It all depends on your specific match-up and where you are in the standings If you feel like you dont need to be risky this week, stick with Frogivne. If you feel like you need find someone to potentially carry this week, go with froggen.

It also depends on the team you want to trade for. You already have three EL players, there really is no harm in trading away one of them for a team. Just make sure its one of the top-tier teams here.

I ended up trading for Kasing and am using Forgiven since I don't need a high risk - high reward player this week. The primary reason I was considering keeping Forgiven on the bench was that SK vs FNC, and I'm betting on FNC destroying SK. And I'm the last undefeated in my league :D Thanks for the tips c:

Just thought I would get a second opinion on my roster this week, make sure I'm not overlooking any obvious flaws

Top: Vizicsacsi Jungle: Kikis Mid: Ryu ADC: Sneaky Support: Aphromoo Flex: Steeelback Team: C9

Bench: Soren, Svenskeren, NRated

There aren't any free agents that I can see picking up (in my opinion) but the ones I see worth mentioning are, Wickd not sure if EL are gonna have a large comeback or not Betsy and Loulex with GMB and H2K being on streaks and getting high points lately

My opponent's team doesn't really match with mine, just he has Doublelift (So I can assume his score will correlate Aphromoo's) and Overpow (who is playing against UOL and my therefore playing against my Top and Jungle)

Any advice is always appreciated :)

Top: Put in Odoamne. H2K is on FIRE right now. Plain and simple. Odoamne gets on average 19 pts per game in comparison to Balls 13 pts per game. (Not to mention Odo just came off of a 65 pt week!). Gotta ride the H2K hype while its still here! Balls should do well, but not as well as Odo!

I would suggest switching Fredy with Odoamne. Last time SK went against fnatic the point's didn't look to hot for SK.

HELP! im feeling kinda down for losing my second week, vs a weak team :( i need help for my mid, my jungle, and my flex! for my mid i have no idea, i have hai in right now, but i have no idea if he will do good. not very many good players are left for mid, but a few are, soren, fox, fenix, and betsy. for my jungle i have kikis in! he did awesome last week, but should i swap him out for someone else? i have diamond, airwalks, and sven open right now. for my flex i would like an adc cause there are no more good mids left, and im looking at, piglet, freeze, and especially hjarnan! question, for the gmb vs h2k matchup who do you think is gona win? is it worth putting hjarnan in and risking a loss? HELP PLEASE!

What is your take on starting members that go against each other. I have diamond and gmb gaming but also have odoamne, ryu, and kasing Starting. I have freeze as my flex and and forgiven as starter adc and have krepo, balls, and team cw. Any suggestions?

Ill make a general note on this in my analysis for next week, but simply put, Dont bench one of your star players simply because they're facing another star player. If these two teams like to play aggressive and get a ton of kills, it should be a bloody game on both sides. Stick to your guns here.

Lustboy. They both are top tier support and both should do well, but TSM has the easier match-ups this week. Plain an simple. But in all actuality, you cant go wrong here, they both will do well.
