Starters Discussion & Week 5 Analysis (Who Do You Start Week 6?)
UPDATE: Week 7's forum, along with week 6 analysis, is now posted! Check under the New/Hot tabs to find Week's 7 forum, and be sure to post all questions you may have regarding week 7 there!
Hi there!
Ok, so the purpose of this forum is exactly what the title describes, to help people set up their best line up possible heading into the next week of games. We've all experienced a moment where we are choosing between two players, not sure which one will have the better turn-out with regards to their current match-ups, their record, if their on a losing streak, new subs of the team, etc. This can now become a place where the fantasy community can help each other out with their rosters so that they are receiving their full potential each and every week. This can also be a place to discuss possible Add/Drop possibilites. Anyway, everyone can understand the purpose behind this forum now.
Just simply post a question about who you are deciding between, along with your reasonings behind why you should and shouldn't start them. Then hopefully a fellow fantasy community member will be able to respond and help you make your decision. Anyone can help out! Multiple opinions and beliefs are better than just one! Remember, Strength in numbers.
Disclaimer: Human beings cannot foresee the future, everything posted on here are just calculated predictions.
Hopefully this now provides a means for all of us as a community to help each other in achieving the glorious 1st place spot in your respected leagues, along with the entitled sensation of "Bragging Rights." Best of luck to all of you! #LCS #Fantasy #DecisionsAreHard

Week 5 Analysis
Remember when I said week 4 was upset week? Well, I lied. Week 5 was upset week. This is the week where GMB, CW, and H2K go 2-0; Where as SK, UOL, and EL record a deflating 0-2 week. And as for the NA side of things, (apart from C9 and Coast), EVERY OTHER TEAM WENT 1-1. The consistency is non existent, which for us as fantasy owners, drives us up the wall. And so begs the question: In whom do we trust?
I have two general notes: 1: Amongst the inconsistency, there are a couple of areas where there is a silver lining. (And these should not come as a shock to most of you). But FNC and TSM have now truly proven themselves to be the most consistent, fantasy scoring powerhouses this split. Whenever you have the option to choose between Player X or a FNC/TSM player, You go with the FNC/TSM player. (Granted there are exceptions, but more often than not, this logic will ring true). And on the opposite ends of the spectrum, MYM and Coast have now officially bestowed themselves the title of "LCS Punching bags." If you see one of your players go up agains either of these teams, its another safe reason to pick said player.
2: Now this is more of a general fantasy strategy note. As I have said before, there are three main things you need to look at when making a decision in fantasy: Play-style, A players individual kill participation, and their match-ups. However, people really get hung up on the idea of the matchup side of things, and are afraid to start a star player simply because they have a hard matchup that week (e.g FNC vs SK). In fantasy, match-ups should not be the main reason to bench a player (Especially this split, since everybody beats everybody), But rather they should be looked at more as a tie-breaker when deciding between two players. If CLG is up against TSM, you should still start the CLG player due to the fact they get a lot of points, regardless of the matchup. However, If the players in question have performed equally well throughout the split, Then thats when the match-ups really matter and should be used as a tie-breaker.
Ok, now for my sleeper picks this week:
NA: GV and C9.
GV, while they had a slow start to the split, are beginning to pick up some steam in NA. And their matchup heading into week 6, (TL and Coast), these are both teams GV has won against earlier in the split. Cop in particular had a very strong week when facing these teams. (Week 2: 45 pts, Week 4: 63 pts). He may be note-worthy to pick up heading into this next week of games. And as for C9, they are up against NA's punching bag (Coast), and a very aggressive WFX. Coming off a 2-0 week and with the mindset that they have light week 6 match-ups, they should come into week 6 with a boat load of confidence, which is what C9 really needs at this point.
EU: H2K and GMB (Once again) H2K have truly become a force to be reckoned with in the EU. They are on a 4-game winning streak, and are up against Giants and ROC (Both teams on the lower end of the standings). If H2K continue to play the way they've been playing for the past two weeks, this should EASILY be another 2-0 week for H2K. Not to mention these are both teams H2K have beaten before. Ryu in particular should do really well this week. (He really came to form this past week, scoring 54 points). And GMB, well as everybody has been saying, THERE BACK! They are playing with new life, and are feeling extremely confident after having two very strong weeks. They have a bloody schedule ahead of them once again ( CW and ROC), and should, once again, rake in a bunch of points.
