Hi there!

Ok, so the purpose of this forum is exactly what the title describes, to help people set up their best line up possible heading into the next week of games. We've all experienced a moment where we are choosing between two players, not sure which one will have the better turn-out with regards to their current match-ups, their record, if their on a losing streak, new subs of the team, etc. This can now become a place where the fantasy community can help each other out with their rosters so that they are receiving their full potential each and every week. This can also be a place to discuss possible Add/Drop possibilities. Anyway, everyone can understand the purpose behind this forum now.

Just simply post a question about who you are deciding between, along with your reasonings behind why you should and shouldn't start them. Then hopefully a fellow fantasy community member will be able to respond and help you make your decision. Anyone can help out! Multiple opinions and beliefs are better than just one! Remember, Strength in numbers.

Week 6 Analysis

So in the interest of time, Im going to just skip right ahead to the sleepers. If you want more In-depth analysis, Be sure to tune into the show on WEDNESDAY, 5 PM CENTRAL! (Yes. The Poll was speaking loud and clear to me haha). :D

SO! Who are my sleepers heading into week 7?

  1. SK...AGAIN. SK has had three, back to back weeks of solid Fantasy Action. They have put up 50+ points in these past three weeks. And the best part is.... their record doesn't show it. I highly doubt people in your league are running SK members in their roster. And right now, SK IS KILLIN IT IN FANTASY. And it's not going to stop anytime soon. They face GMB and CW. Two lower tier teams that is sure to have very sloppy play, (And lots and lots of points to be had on top of it as well).

  2. UOL. I know I mention UOL like every other week, but guys... This week is as real as it gets. They face CW and EL. Once again, as stated above, lower tier teams = POINTS POINTS POINTS. Not to mention that UOL has been fairly consistent these past two weeks. Nothing flashy, but just solid. However, this should be a very nice and simple 2-0 week for them; and thats EXACTLY what we like to see in Fantasy.

...Plus, who doesn't want to have the power of unicorns on their roster? (Jerks. Thats who...)

  1. GIANTS. I'm SO happy that i'm able to write their name here again. But its true! Giants came back with a vengeance last week to say the least. They looked like the giants we knew and loved back in the beginning of the split and that aggression and passion should be here to stay as we head toward the end of the split. They went 1-1 last week and was able to crush the fantasy scene. Not to mention, they scored the majority of their points against FNC!! They are still primed to go 1-1 this week (OG and GMB), but who isn't to say that they wont repeat their week 6 performance. GIANTS is a very notable pick up this week in my opinion.

The most Honorable of Honorable Mentions

GV: Guys. Im saying this here and now. But GV is the best team in NA in my opinion. This is not just because of the TSM game yesterday, but as GV's performance as a whole this entire split. Every single win from them can be summed up in three words. Solid. Clean. Clear. They come in with a clear game plan, the completely take charge of all of their games, and they rarely falter. Whether or not people are aware of this already, but GV is primed to have a 2-0 week. (C9 and NME). If you've got a GV on your bench, You better start them. Like right now. (Seriously, stop reading this sentence and go put in your GV members....)

Just barely won last week, my opponent was 10 points away from beating me, but alas, I'm 5-1 and in first place :) Here's my matchup, facing my league's punching bag.

Thoughts on my ADC, Flex and Team picks?

Youre opponent either doesnt follow the LCS at all, or he has BALLS OF STEEL.

Either or, you are sitting really pretty this week. Honestly though, Swap Pepi with Febiven. As much as we want to jump on the FNC undefeated hype train, they have their hardest week to date. And running four of the this week may not be the best way to go about it. Both OG and H2K are strong teams and can easily give FNC a run for their money. That being said, Putting Pepi in not only balances out the FNC players on your team, it makes it a whole lot safer for you this week. (And looking at your opponent's line-up, There's no need to play it risky.)

Otherwise I like the line-up alot! GL GL!

True, true. Anyways, I need three more pieces of advice.

First, I'm thinking of making a trade with someone who's starting to struggle thanks to CLG. It's Niels + Pepii for Bjergsen + CoreJJ. If I go through with it, I can start both of those players in their main positions this week, then bench CoreJJ next week in favour of Hjarnan. What makes this awkward is that he's my opponent for Week 8.

Second, if I don't make the trade, what's your opinion on Hjarnan vs Niels this week?

Third, if I don't make the trade, I was thinking of playing picking up Froggen instead of Pepii. It would nullify his EL picks if they do end up playing well this week.

I'm thinking SK > GMB actually, so I expect a 2-0 from SK. As crazy as this sounds, should I bench either Febiven or Rekkles? I feel like they will still score just fine even with this week (if not even higher!) Also glad I could snag Fufuu and Hauntzer before anyone else. (Move and Keane are still available too)

Your roster looks mega stacked lmao. I think Move > Amazing, especially since GV is in such a good place and OG hasn't looked as strong as they did since they lost to FNC. The thing is, everyone on your team is so valuable. Maybe if you have a friend in the league, you can help him out and have him hold some players so you can get Move? Idk, but either way I think your roster is beast.

I'm fully aware of DIG's easier upcoming Week (compared to H2K's, at least), but I really need a consistent mid other than XwX for the long run, and H2K looking back to their real selves, they might finally put up a fight against Fnatic - so I traded my Shiphtur for another dude's Ryu. Hoping against hope!

I'm also somewhat torn between CoreJJ, Vardags and Adryh, main reason I'm leaning towards Vardags is because Giants are against Origen, SK up against GMB/CW (they got thrashed in both prior games against these teams, though obviously things change) - meanwhile, UoL are facing CW and EL - so I'm probably just gonna start Vardags.

Very much considering dropping Core JJ for Adryh though. Core JJ seems to have better "lows" but Adryh has better "highs" (Low C23.10 vs A15.93, High C58.70 vs A62.58). Average Points: C 19.84 vs A 20.14. Core JJ did fairly average well agaisnt C9 (22.75) and TIP (26.02), whereas Adryh tanked against OG (9.31) and GMB (10.00). Thoughts?

I could also trade Xmithie for Svenskeren, though I'm not sure if it's a good idea in the long run

While the all in on TL is a scary one, its not always necessarily the best move. Personally, The only time I ever go 4 or more players on the same team in my starting line up is when 1) They are clearly one of the top tier teams, 2) When they are primed to have a 2-0 week. While TL is definitely a top tier team, they do face TSM. That game wont be such a shoe in. So don't fret!

But in regards to you're roster, here's what im thinking.

Drop CoreJJ for Adrhy, put in Adrhy over Ryu. DIG is starting to lose steam in my opinion. They are slowly becoming a middle of the pack kind of team. So unless DIG has a clear 2-0 week ahead of them. they aren't worth running at the moment. And GIANTS right now are making their surge back. So I like adrhy this week.

Now, as to why I chose to put in adrhy over Ryu over XWX? It just comes down to the match-ups. Ryu is about to face FNC. And while I don't think they will necessarily roll over and die like last time, it can't be ignored that they did so the first time around. Plus, I do think FNC is going to win that game. Where as on the side of TIP, they are looking hot right now. And they can easily beat both DIG and T8 imho.

Otherwise I like the line-up! If you are un-easy about TIP, Then I would bench rush and put in Xmithie. CLG does have a very easy week, but I think they are finally out of that honeymoon phase that Ive been talking about for the past couple of weeks.

What I need help with:

Is fredy122 the best top lane option right now or is there someone else worth replacing him?

Is it a smart decision to drop SoaZ and Mithy? If so, who should I consider picking up?

Should I also pick up PepiiNeRO and drop Ryu? Ryu is going up against Fnatic this week, and I'm not sure if I can rely on him to score a large amount of points. If I do pick of Pepi, should I start him or Fox?

Also, I'm not sure if I should keep Hjarnan in my Flex position. Should I replace him? If so, who would be the best option?

Should I keep YellOwStaR in at the support position, or is there a better option? And how about WildTurtle; is there someone else that I could replace him with?

For this week, it might be preferable to start Fox or Pepi over Ryu. The only reason I'm starting Ryu is because I have little other choice x) If you have to drop Ryu for Pepi, then do so, but if you'd rather not drop Ryu, then start Fox.

From what I've seen, Fredy122 is a pretty safe pick, though Soaz could work too.

Hjarnan is one of the highest scoring players (5th overall) - pls don't drop. It'd be the dream of anyone who doesn't have Doublelift, Niels, or Rekkles. HOWEVER, if you have to drop him, get Adryh (imo) for this week (assuming you go Pepi/Fox) since Vardags seems to already be taken (and Candypanda is obviously not available). The only other ADC that seems to be decent is Mrallez. Gambles: Otter, Core JJ, Emperor. Keith is a big IF (should Wildturtle not be playing).

Yellowstar is currently the best support imo, trailed by Bunny and KaSing.

Wildturtle is really good, though it's up in the air who's gonna play between him and Keith. If you HAVE to change, get Adryh (as mentioned before).

The biggest thing in your case is to see whether or not Turtle or Keith will be starting. Or worse, they both play one game... If thats the case, you gotta get a new ADC my friend. Its never worth starting someone who is only playing one game. So pay close attention this week to the TSM website/FB page, reddit, etc. So as @Dragon mentioned above, if you have to chance, adrhy is a great pickup this week.

Basically, Dragon took all of the words right out of my mouth! Just make sure you pay attention to TSM this week and adjust accordingly. You should be fine then!

Well, from the free agents there's Nrated as support that I think is the only noteworthy pickup for this week in the free agents, since I'm mostly concerned about the H2K vs fnatic match, that could be a good pickup. Though Kasing does normally great and has been the 2nd best support so far, so it depends completely on how they'll perform against FNC. That's probably the only noteworthy trade from the free agents. I'm not sure who I would want to trade for him though if I would go through with it, maybe team liquid since I already have TIP.

Ah, well that's more of a flavor trade more than anything else, so that's entirely up to you. Otherwise, it seems like it'll be a tight matchup (more or less tie top, you win jungle, mid is debatable though I'll lean towards Ryu, Apollo vs Core JJ is entirely dependent on TIP vs DIG match, you have a better support but it may be swayed by the FNC game so that one's up in the air. You do have a better flex, though, so there's that. Fnatic is just the best team atm so chances are high they'll do good.)

MID: Move Keane to the mid position Flex: Put Adrhy in

Don't get me wrong, H2K is a great team, but they do face FNC and that worries me a little. KaSing, in my opinion, is H2K's best player. So running him is a-ok with me. But Keane is definitely the safer choice between the two in my opinion due to GV's success this split.

Not only that, it makes space for you to put in adrhy! (See Sleeper section for Giants reasoning!)

I am now in a 2 way tie for first and ive scored the most points this season by almost 100. I'm versing the other person im tied with. Top: Huni Jg: Xmithie or svenskeren Mid: XwX Adc: Piglet Sup: Kasing, Adrian Flex: Corejj, CandyPanda or forgiven Team: TIP

If i win this i basically won my league. The big question really is coreJJ or CandyPanda corejj is has been consistent with points lately, but candypanda has been doing pretty well and I like his match-ups this week. Im going to start svenskeren, but Xmithie is still in the question. Last time kasing vs. Fnatic he only scored 17 points that week. He also versed Sk that week, but im a little worried about starting him this week.

Xmithie vs Svenskeren is a flavor pick - do you still believe in CLG? Or will you take the SK route?

The H2K vs Fnatic team makes a lot of heads turn (I have both KaSing and Ryu, and I'm starting both - gambling big, here) but if they play well, then it's all good. Adrian seems to be a pretty consistent player, all told, though.

For ADC, Candypanda just seems like a very solid pick atm, but Core JJ has, as you said, been very consistent. I'd opt for Candy, personally, but it's up to you.

Jung: I like Svenskeren here. For two major reasons. One being that Svenskeren is one of the biggest playmakers on SK, if there is a play to be had or made, he will be at the forefront of all of it. And the second being that SK has proven that they are able to score INSANE points in 1-1, 0-2 weeks. CLG has only shown that they can score big if they get a 2-0 week. Not to mention that Xmithie is one of CLG's weaker players. (Same logic can be applied to putting in CandyPanda in the flex as well :D).

And I like adrian here as well. I do think TIP is going to 2-0 this week, and I believe H2K is going to 1-1. But even if TIP does go 1-1, they've been going 1-1 alot this split, and still they do pretty soid on fantasy with regards to points. I just think Adrian is the better pick this week. If you had to drop kasing to make this change, I wouldn't do it. But since you've got him on your bench, I think its a worthy swap this week!

Bit worried about my week. I've been having consistently bad weeks where I pick good players, but the weeks turn out awful for them. Last week was good for me, but I still lost by a veeeery slim margin, and looking to face an... Interesting week matchup this week too against the number two of my league.

My Roster: Hauntzer/Santorin/xPeke/Niels/Mithy/Altec/Team Liquid My Opponent: Quas/IWDominate/Febiven/Apollo/Bunny FuFuu/Piglet/Fnatic

My Alts: Soaz/Yellowstar/Fenix

Potential Pickups: Top: Freddy122/Gamsu/Odoamne (Which I don't favor since he's against Fnatic who shut him down hard last time) Jungle: Move/Svenskeren Mid: Power of Evil/Shiptur ADC: Candypanda/WildTurtle (If I wasn't afraid of him getting switched with Keith again) Support: Adrian/Lustboy/xSpecial Teams: Gravity/SK/H2K

My only reasoning behind Mithy over Yellowstar is that Yellowstar is against both the number two teams and I feel they might make it harder for him to score as many points vs Mithy having a game against Giants to potentially get more from. There are more alts I could look into getting but I'm afraid of most of their lack of consistency.

Mid: Fenix

So what does this accomplish here? Basically, It evens the playing field. You both now have a fair share of TL players. While he does have three TL players and while you have two, this means that they will essentially balance each other out. Personally, I like being in your position better because if TL does do well, You will be able to cash in on some of the points. But if TL doesnt do well, now he's down three players to just your two. (Hopefully that made sense.)

Supp: Put in YellowStar. Not only do I think FNC is going to win the match-up against OG, Your opponent also has two members of FNC. This is basically following the Ideology I just wrote above with your TL situation. Putting in yellowstar in will basically safe guard you from the chance of FNC getting a ton of points and blowing you out of the water. With yellowstar in, If FNC does go ham, you'll get some points as well along with your opponent!

So I like the 4 man roster!

6-man: Put in Fox over apollo. I think SK's schedule this week is making me more inclined to start the Fox this week. Not to say TIP wont do well, I just think SK has the better chance at the 2-0 week. Not to mention SK does well with 1-1 weeks. (Points wise that is). WHAT DOES THE FOX SAY???? (Put me in. Thats what he says...)

8-man: Hauntzer in Top. Kasing in Supp.

Hauntzer because Gravity is a "Force to be reckoned with." (Ok that was a bad one...) But seriously though, GV is amazing. Put him in!

KaSing should also go in because it balances out his Ryu. That way if H2K does do well, you can even him out on the H2K front. Those two should cancel each other out so-to-speak. (Does this make sense?)

Otherwise, you're good to go! GL GL!

Just a quick one today - who to start at ADC? Niels, Otter or CandyPanda?

Niels - usually the obvious choice but has a tough matchup at FNC this week.

Otter - Has been (quietly) putting up roughly 40 points a week.

CandyPanda - big numbers the last two weeks, but SK was so bad the first few weeks of the season I'm inclined to think it was a flash in a pan.

I've got SoaZ, Amazing, xPeke and another one of these three ADCs for my flex spot. I'm inclined to go Otter and Niels, but I wanted to ask you if maybe CandyPanda and Niels would be a better run. Thanks in advance!

I Completely understand your worry here. And you have a right to worry too! SK's record is not a pretty one, and their performance earlier this split was "sub-par" to say the least. But as I mentioned above, they have had three back to back 50+ point weeks. (And this is amongst 0-2, 1-1 weeks!) Their schedule this week gives them the opportunity to 2-0! They are showing fight, and thats exactly what we like to see. Lets cash in on this now before its too late in my opinion.

I normally would go for niels in a heartbeat, but OG has been a little lack luster as of late. Not to mention the FNC game scares me after their last encounter.

Late registration here but I popped into another fantasy league (yeah, it's gonna be a short one with only 3 weeks, but it should be pretty tight now that we know who the best players are). Fresh league but with a full 8 players, it's gonna be an even race

In all honesty, You've got my stamp of approval for your week 7! (... or week 1 I should say XD ).

Surprised he's running the Elements as his team... there are so many better options for him this week. But were not gonna tell him that now are we ;)

Haha thanks. It feels good to actually have players I'm sure of, my other league is full of uncertainties

And actually, the main reason he's running Elements is because we're an 8-man League. He was the last to select a team xD

Last minute changes, but he finally picked up UoL as a team. However, he didn't drop Elements (they're still locked 'cuz EU's already playing) so instead he dropped PIGLET! I naturally jumped at it, dropping my stray Otter. His new flex is obviously Ninja.

Now my only issue is picking up a good JUNGLER to back up Svenskeren. Sadly there's a dearth of those. Helios, Kez and Diamondprox are open but they're not the safest picks (and I'd have to drop Gamsu, my only expendable but potentially very strong alternate). What should I do?

Also, now that SK's not performing as well as I'd hoped, what should've been a surefire win this week has become a huge uncertainty. Oh dear, this one's up in the air. Well, welcome to Fantasy LCS, I suppose. xD

Hi, right now I'm first in my League but there are two people just one win behind me. I want to win this week so I can pull ahead and try and secure first place. Any advice would be great. This is my team.

Why you wouldn't run Huni over ZionSpartan is beyond me =P Huni is the highest grossing total points and highest average points per game of all top laners at the moment, trailed only by Quas (2nd) and hauntzer (3rd) xD

It'll be a tight match, though, that's for sure.

Huni is good but CLG is up against TDK and NME next week, I know they're going through a slump right now but they should still be able to beat the two newcomers. Fnatic is play H2K and Origen which might be a bit harder for Huni, although those games might be a bloodbath, it might not be

Ahh, I didn't check matchups. I suppose I'm taking FNC's undefeated streak for granted x) Makes sense. Well in the end it's up to you. To be completely honest I'd probably still run Huni.

Zion Visi or Impact for top? i know you have zion lower on the chart but i still see him getting some decent points seeing that they have a pretty easy matchup. TDK and NME

In all honesty, this will come down to your individual match-up. Depending on who your opponent is playing, you can make the argument to start any of those three. If you could elaborate on your opponent's roster this week, it'll help me loads!

I really had a hard time with CLG this week. I've said it from the beginning that they were going to fall off, and now while I believe that time has come, they are now given a very easy week. But CLG is kinda tilting right now. That's the only reason why Im not 100% sold on them this week. I do think they should beat both of their opponents! But yet again...This is the "Throwing" CLG we all know and love. Anything can happen with them toward the end of the split.

Anyways, if you can get back to me on your opponent, that'll be great!

Yes I would definitely drop Niels for Altec. Gravity is one of the top teams in NA currently and they are only going to go up from here. Altec has been performing very well these last few weeks and he has two fairly easy match ups this week so he is sure to score big. Origen on the other hand is against Fnatic which is a really big gamble, and Niels only scored around 30 for me last week.

It's been a while but once again I have returned to pick your brain about some queries. Firstly, I want to know your opinion regarding the top 3 EU teams(Fnatic, H2K, Origen) because you didn't mention them: how do you think they'll fare this week? Do you think Fnatic will be ale to pull a 2-0 week?or do you you think Origen/H2k will be able to stop the unstoppable 12-0 Fnatic?

Now onto some player queries: I currently have Hjarnan as my flex, but I'm looking to replace him for either Candypanda, XWX, Fox or Vardags. Which do you think I should switch Hjarnan for id you think I should swap him out at all. Secondly, sitting in my bench for the past few days has been Mithy, Soaz and Amazing. I was wondering what you think I should do with them? Recently they have been pretty lack luster in terms of points as opposed to others. What are your opinions of Origen and do you think they can return to their point-hoarding days of WK 1 and 2?

After that dominant OG vs Giants game, I think you might want to keep OG players for a little while yet =P Same thing with that H2K vs FNC game. H2K had a huge lead but FNC, the gods that they are, complete destruction and NO kills given to H2K after like 25-30 minutes have passed

At this rate, an FNC 18-0 isn't an impossibility

I'd honestly keep Hjarnan unless you have a better ADC as a swap (Rekkles, Niels come to mind). Vardags is good too (PowerOfEvil really hit it big that game against CW, though), and so is Candypanda, but keep in mind that despite how strong they've been looking lately, SK will, in all likelihood, lose against the top-tier teams (that victory in H2K notwithstanding). UoL has been a bit more of a wildcard (as always) - so if you like gambling, you can go for either player (Fox seems to have been doing very well though)

I'm more concerned that you don't seem to have a lot of midlaners. The aforementioned Fox, as well as XwX are pretty good picks (XwX is pretty consistent, with nothing under 36 points).

What's your full roster, though? Having it will probably help a lot in crafting a team for ya

With the way Gambit is dumpstering SK right now, I might wanna take most of what I said back. xD Gambit just seem to have SK's number - the numbers don't lie.

Well, see, now that changes things. You have Rekkles. xD XwX, PoE (especially that last game), Piglet, Fenix, Ryu and Vardags are all decent Flex picks. You should avoid Supports in that position, typically their success hinges on their team doing well, so KaSing isn't a good idea to flex.

Personally I'd go with either XwX (pretty explosive player, though he's somewhat risky 'cuz he tends to die as much as he kills), PoE (another gamble, UoL are a wild card team), Piglet (one of the best ADCs atm, and has never gone under 30 points), Fenix (same boat as Piglet, though he did get 18 in Week 2, so there's that to consider), or Ryu (just a good, consistent all-around player, except when against Fnatic). They all have their pros and cons. if you're looking for pure consistency, though, then consider Piglet. xD That's just my 2 cents

They always look pretty shaky against the top-tier teams but then BANG! Complete domination over Gambit. It was a good idea to start Adryh over Ryu. 10/1/8 with a Triple? Thanks for the points, boys!

On THAT note... H2K, what happened? I thought y'all bounced back. KaSing isn't looking too solid at 23 points, but he did his thing. Ryu, though... :c I'm starting to regret picking him up. Hopefully they come back next week!
