Hi there!

Ok, so the purpose of this forum is exactly what the title describes, to help people set up their best line up possible heading into the next week of games. We've all experienced a moment where we are choosing between two players, not sure which one will have the better turn-out with regards to their current match-ups, their record, if their on a losing streak, new subs of the team, etc. This can now become a place where the fantasy community can help each other out with their rosters so that they are receiving their full potential each and every week. This can also be a place to discuss possible Add/Drop possibilities. Anyway, everyone can understand the purpose behind this forum now.

Just simply post a question about who you are deciding between, along with your reasonings behind why you should and shouldn't start them. Then hopefully a fellow fantasy community member will be able to respond and help you make your decision. Anyone can help out! Multiple opinions and beliefs are better than just one! Remember, Strength in numbers.

Week 7 Analysis

Literally, not gonna lie, Week 7 panned out pretty much as it should've. Looking back on everything, (Minus the Fault of SK's week), All of the teams that should've gone 2-0 did, same can be said for the 1-1 teams. This like, NEVER happens in fantasy. And to be completely honest, I think its gonna be the same this week. Literally, All of the top-tier teams have great schedules. So This week should be as black and white as can be.

To be completely honest, there aren't many clear sleepers this week, so Im going to touch on a couple of points.

  1. FNC and GV. These are the clear front runners in their respected regions. Im gonna keep it short and sweet and say that if you have a FNC or GV player and you aren't starting them for some insane reason... do it. Once again, they are both primed to go 2-0 this week!

  2. The biggest sleeper pick for the week is Origen. Origen has been very lack luster as of late, but this is a week where they should be able to come out with the 2-0. They face SK and GMB. SK faltered last week unfortunately, and GMB has seen better days. OG is a good team, they've just been plagued with 1-1 weeks recently. However, OG, in my opinion, definitely stronger than both that of GMB and SK. #StayStrongAndRideTheOGHypeTrain! (That hash tag was stupidly long).

  3. KIKIS IS GONE. IF YOU'VE GOT KIKIS, YOU GOTTA SWAP HIM. However, with that being said, UOL's week looks promising. Just like OG above, they face SK and GMB. UOL came out big last week, and they could very well do the same. The only reason why Im hesitant to list them as a major sleeper is because of the roster swap. This is the first major roster change UOL has done since their debut in the LCS. And as we all know, roster changes have their effects on the team's synergy. Feel free to start the major ones such as Vardags and POE. But I wouldnt run more than two in my opinion. Not until we see this team and their new Jungler in action.

  4. TSM has been lacking. This whole ADC situation is really hurting TSM performance as of late. They have been performing just average in the Fantasy side of things, and I wouldn't be too surprised to see a repeat performance this week. They face a very, VERY hot TIP. I actually am going to tip my hat in favor of TIP here over TSM. (See what I did there? XD) TSM doesnt do well with 1-1 weeks, So I would only start one TSM person this week on your roster. (That person being Bjergsen and/or WildTurtle ((If he starts that is....)) ).

Ill post the chart later tomorrow, I just havent had the time to go through it and adjust it yet. (Very busy weekend :/ )

But basically, EU's top teams all should do well. I know last week was a little troublesome with the FMC vs. H2K/OG matchups, but now FNC, H2K, OG should all be back to doing well.

Ok, so for your tie-breaker week

Top: Hauntzer. As you are well aware, GV is the top team in NA. And they have an easy week. I completely understand why you are questioning Soaz due to OG's easier week. While I do think OG will come back swinging this week, they have been lack-luster recently. Plus you've already got some OG players in there. I think running two of them this week is perfect.

In all honesty, I like the line-up alot. I think you should be perfectly fine in coming out on top!

I'm stuck in a rough place with junglers. I have ALL of Origen except Amazing, Doublelift, Bjerg, Lust Boy, and GV. Svenskeren is my current jungler, and he is by far the best available in the pool (all expected at 28pts and below).

So, who should I offer to trade out for a jungler? I've offered XPeke for the top tier junglers, but no bites there.

Somewhat aside second question here, but now that we've finished the 7-man round robin, how is it decided who we play next? I don't want to trade to someone with whom I may be competing for place. Thanks!

Hey guy, it depends on how closely the members of your league follow LCS. I would offer some trades for Lustboy (If I were you, I would never play Lustboy insead of Mithy at this point) but anyone not really following LCS too closely might go "OO Lustboy, top tier support" and take the trade. It also depends on what the quality of the jungler is. You're likely out of luck for getting any of the god tier junglers (Reignover, Amazing, Santorin, Rush, Dom) You may just be out of luck. Sometimes you have to take the hit in one position in order to have great players elsewhere. (I had CandyPanda in my flex last week with 20 points but I won because I have Hauntzer, Bunny, Febiven and Rekkles)

All in all, for sure keep Niels and Doublelift. IMO they should be your ADC/Flex every week. Much consistent. Many points wow. Since Mithy is really solid, Lustboy is disposable. Maybe you could even get a top tier jungle for Bjerg (I actually dropped Bjerg so I could start Keane and Fenix in one league, OP)

I forgot to answer the second part of your post. My experience last year was that we all happened to repeat our week 1 and week 2 matchups in week 8 and 9. However, I'm in a 6man league this split, and week 6 and 7 were repeats of week 2 and 5 respectively. So it sounds like it's random, and my league just must have been wacky convenient last split.

It is random in who you re-face. So Hopefuly you roll well and face teams on the lower end of the table!

It's predetermined who you'll face in Fantasy each week. Just add "#9" after "/matchups" in the address bar to see your Week 9 matchup

The cool part about fantasy once we start nearing the end of the split is that we are more "Free" to give up some of the better players overall and cash in on teams looking at the short term perspective. If you had asked me back in week 2 to trade lustboy for Shiphtur because of DIG's easy week, I would've looked at you like your crazy, because someone could pick up Lustboy and you'd be screwed in the long term. HOWEVER, now that there are only two weeks left, Short term focus becomes a much more powerful way of thinking. Because who cares if you give up a "Solid" player towards the end. (Hopefully this makes sense).

However, Im not saying that you should go dropping every FNC player you have and put in CW because "Short-term OP". If you've truly got a star player like FNC, keep them in till the very end. However, a team like TSM now is worth of trading prospects in the shorter due to their lack of gusto recently.

Did this make sense? I hope it made sense. If you can get anyone to bite on Bjergsen or Lustboy for a top-tier jungler, then in the words of Shia LeBouf... DO IT!

ADC: WildTurtle has not been playing his best recently. I'm wondering if I should start Hjarnan in the ADC spot and put someone else at the Flex position. Is this a smart decision? If so, who should be starting at the Flex?

Supp: Lol, YellowStar is bae.

Team: I'm pretty confident in Gravity right now. No need for changes in my opinion.

Top: I'm starting Soaz myself, and I feel pretty confident in him. He rarely has bad games, plus their week is easy. Odoamne is similarly a safe pick. Jung: Move is great. The only better picks would be Rush, Reignover, and Santorin (iffy now). Mid: Yeah, I expect H2K to bounce back this week for sure. They're out for blood. There rarely are any other good mid laners available at this point in the season. ADC: Okay this is the one place I have to disagree with your roster (agreeing with your suggestion). TSM really is slipping recently, and TIP looks stronger than they ever have IMO. They are on such a hot streak, and TSM morale has to be down after dropping the ball multiple times. Turtle just isn't scoring that fantastic for an ADC in recent weeks. On the other hand, Piglet has scored AMAZING points the last couple of weeks. I think you should start Hjarnan here. Sup: Yellowstar is the best support in the LCS. Flex: That leaves a spot open in flex. You CAN start Turtle here, but personally I wouldn't. Vizicsacsi is actually an option here. He actually has the highest average points on UOL, so if you're gonna start any of them this week, he's the one to do it. All of the next best free agents should only have mediocre performances this week, especially in EU the matchups all favor the top teams having easy weeks. Some weeks you just have to settle :/

Statistically speaking, you win Top, lose Jung, lose Mid, lose ADC, win support, lose flex (if you start vizicsacsi), and tie team. BUT I don't mean to discourage you. Every week is different depending on matchups. For example, Gravity was a little weaker earlier in the split and their points weren't as strong (this messes up the averages when you use them to represent the current matchups). It's all matchup dependent every week. IMO, this week I see you winning top, tying JG, slightly losing mid, slightly losing ADC, winning support, and slightly winning or tying team. I think you can do it! I think your #1 condition is if TL shows up against CLG. If they do, you might be in trouble. If CLG can find their gusto again, you're golden. GL HF

I agree with @Areo here with pretty much everything. I think the most annyoing thing this week is that all of the clear-cut, good teams have easy weeks, and that all of the rest of the teams in the LCS are looking at 1-1 and 0-2 weeks. This makes finding sleepers this week to be really hard. So unfortunetely, this week really comes down to fantasy owners putting in their star players and hoping their's does better. Trying to put in anyone of those players as a sleeper is to risky this week.

But Areo is right in believing in the UOL. Viz is not a bad option here due to their match-ups. I fully believe UOL to go 2-0, so might as well start someone who is finding success recently and are primed to go 2-0.

Week 8 Looks amazing. Plain and simple. Personally, I try to keep my focus on the current week at hand when doing fantasy analysis, basically because literally ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN IN LCS. Logic just goes out the window sometimes... (Yeah. Im looking at you EU...)

This is the Comp that i'm running for Week 8

Top: Hauntzer Jungle: Reignover Mid: PowerOfEvil Adc: Vardags Support: YellowStar Flex: Niels Team: Gravity

Alternates: Move/ Bunny FuFuu/ Dyrus(i dont plan on using any of them)

Although the possibility of UOL doing either really well or sub-par is a risk willing to take if you take into account their records against the lower tier teams. Fnatic has a pretty easy week as well as do Gravity, and seeing as both of these teams are 1st in both regions, i would try to get as many members on your roster as possible. As for OG Niels, even in his losing games he has allways managed to get around 18 points or so, while in his winning matches he gets about 28 points, he takes the word "carry" to the truth and is an overall well performing player and highly recommend having him as a flex or starting adc.

This comp got an estimates of 305 points last week, and seeing as though the matches for these teams are less of a challenge then last weeks, I expect the comp to get just as much, if not more. Other than that, i Believe it is be essential to at least get some if not as much players from both Fnatic and Gravity if u want to have a clean week and not to worry about a possible loss.

P.S There is a 4-way tie for 1st place in my Fantasy League and im one of them, Basically this week is final determination for who will win the Fantasy Split and i Intend to keep My Title of Bragging Rights.

IMO you should try to trade Fufuu for a good mid. Next week, UoL is facing FNC, so you might want to look for a replacement mid laner (for Week 9, UoL looks to have a good week this week)

If anyone is getting traded, it might just be Dyrus, because i know the people in my league will try to get any Gravity members as possible at this point, but they arent willing to give anyone up themselves, the best mid laner i can get just from a trade-in right now would be Betsy and seeing as how Gambit have been struggling all Season long, id rather take my chances with UOL and just hope for the best, depending on how this weeks matches go for UOL, they will remain on my roster. Otherwise i will replace them with those who may perform in the near future.

I second this motion.

GV is one of the best teams at the moment. TSM is nose-diving. It is un-orthodox to run a top in the flex, but for this given week, its the correct thing to do!

In response, would the better flex be Hauntzer or Move? Both are great carries with the team, and with this solid week, its hard to choose a between a chance of a Top Carry or a Map Dominating Jungle.

Also, what about the comparison of Reignover vs Move in Jungler?

my dilema is really the jungle position, (i had helios, but then dig started to slip) but now the best jungler avaliable is svenskeren and gilius. im really thinking about starting gilius but im not sure. other notable free agents are porpoise hai fr3deric and shook. so who should i start out of these. also how does the rest of my roster look? thanks and peace.

Hi there, basically like everyone else, I'd really like to win this next week if possible. My matchup is attached below and here are my and my opponent's alts: Me: Zion Spartan Bjergsen Santorin

Opponent: Pepiinero Bunny Fufuu Team Dignitas

So, I decided to bench all of my TSM for this week for obvious reasons, and I was debating picking up PowerOfEvil. I don't however want to drop Bjergsen just yet and have it backfire, and I think Ryu is a safer pick this week due to the changes to UOL, however PowerOfEvil did very well last week which makes the switch tempting....

etc etc...any advice is welcome!

I think Ryu is a great option here. Not only does H2K have a promising schedule this week, you're opponent also is very H2K oriented. Running two of them here helps even the playing field on a little. Because if H2K does do well, then you are at least cashing in on some of the action rather than just you're opponent. And even better on the flip-side, if H2K does poorly, Then he's down 4 player slots to just you're two!. And thats HUGE in fantasy!

Its the better and safer option in my opinion than Bjergsen.

Other than that, I like the line-up! GL GL!

My opponent has Huni, Reignover AND team FNC, which is just killer. xD Not to mention Keane and Altec, that's terrifying. And remember, even if TIP does well, he's starting Adrian =P I'm like really scared of going against this guy lol

Anyway, there's nothing much I can do except start my highest point-generating players, honestly. My main gripe is just who to start as Support: KaSing, or Mithy? They both have pretty easy weeks ahead of them. I'm leaning more towards KaSing because Giants are a very violent squad (lots of kills for both teams means that a lot of points are gonna get spread around), plus Copenhagen Wolves. That, and SK are still pretty hot despite a lackluster Week 7, so they might really bite at OG's points this week. But still, it's OG! They're just such a good all-around team. Ahhh, the dilemma.

I like Kasing. H2K is a very good team. I personally think they are the better team than OG. But regardless, H2K has a very simple week ahead of them in facing GIA and CW. There's not a doubt in my mind that they shouldn't be able to come out on top. Plus, I personally believe KaSing is H2K's star player due to his insane play making abilities!

Yeah, this week is pretty much coming down to you starting your FNC/H2K/GV/OG/TIP/TL players, your opponent doing the same, and its just a boxing match at this point. There aren't really good Sleeper picks this week, its just putting in the obvious, best players and crossing you're fingers! (Sometimes there are gonna be weeks like this in fantasy).

Hi Nural! Not sure what I should do this week.

So my starting roster as of right now is: Top: Gamsu Jungle: Jankos Mid: Bjergsen Adc: Hjarnan Sup: Yellowstar Flex: Adyrh Team: Gravity

My Bench right now is: Flarez, Hai, & Pepiinero

I think for the most part I'm in good shape except I'm unsure what to do in the top lane, jungle, and flex. I had kikis so I knew i had to pick up someone in place for him. Also in that dilemma of having both carries from Giants so it's always a toss up of who to play which week.

Also Best available players in my league. Top: Werlyb, Steve, Jwoaw, Seraph, Lenny Jungle: Trashy, Frederic, Dexter, Kez, Diamondprox, Shook, Gilieus Mid: Nukeduck, Fox, Betsey, Goldenglue. Hey guys just wanted some feedback on my decision

Top: should i start huantzer, quas or odoamne i have access to all of them and i believe that huantzer is the best option Mid: Fenix, Ryu, Xpeke or Powerofevil i have Fenix starting but i have my doubts about weather ryu will get more points based on the schedule

Any advice is much appreciated

I was really worried with how gillius played vs sk, but he managed to get me 31 points, which is ok i guess. really my only saving grace was that gv managed to win day 2 with a few baron steals and that adrian only started one game.
