Summer 2015 Starters Discussion & Week 3 analysis (Who Do You Start Week 4?)
Hi there!
Ok, so the purpose of this forum is exactly what the title describes, to help people set up their best line up possible heading into the next week of games. We've all experienced a moment where we are choosing between two players, not sure which one will have the better turn-out with regards to their current match-ups, their record, if their on a losing streak, new subs of the team, etc. This can now become a place where the fantasy community can help each other out with their rosters so that they are receiving their full potential each and every week. This can also be a place to discuss possible Add/Drop possibilities. Anyway, everyone can understand the purpose behind this forum now.
Just simply post a question about who you are deciding between, along with your reasonings behind why you should and shouldn't start them. Then hopefully a fellow fantasy community member will be able to respond and help you make your decision. Anyone can help out! Multiple opinions and beliefs are better than just one! Remember, Strength in numbers.
Disclaimer: Human beings cannot foresee the future, everything posted on here are just calculated predictions/opinions.
Hopefully this now provides a means for all of us as a community to help each other in achieving the glorious 1st place spot in your respected leagues, along with the entitled sensation of "Bragging Rights." Best of luck to all of you! #FantasyLCS #DecisionsAreHard

Week 3 Analysis
Before I get into everything, I just want to be the first one to apologize for recommending CW last week to everyone. (That was a really unfortunate week on their end, and it spells doom for the wolves.)
Now! With that out of the way, the first three weeks are in the books, and now we have clearer view of whose ahead of the pack, in the middle of the pack, and in the rear of the pack in both LCS regions. And hopefully, you were all able to formulate a fairly consistent roster coming out of these three weeks.
Now, lets get right into it!
A couple of things:
-
So i'm well aware that last week I expressed my concerns regarding CLG this split. (And I still believe that they are going to fall off). ... But im not gonna sit here and tell you guys not to start a red hot CLG at the moment. While I still consider them in the honey moon phase, the fact of the matter is pretty much that! They ARE in the honey moon phase. And not to mention that CLG has a very easy week 4 ahead of them (TDK and C9). TDK has officially been given the title "NA Punching Bag" so why not cash in on it. Im about to talk about C9 below!
-
So last split, C9 was a team would normally not want to face in a fantasy week. Not because they were gonna win necessarily, but because they played so damn passive that there were zero points to be had. But looking back on all of the games C9 lost this past three weeks, Im gonna break down the amount of kills the opposing team had in a win against C9.
- DIG vs. C9: 16 kills DIG, 4 Kills C9
- GV vs. C9: 16 kills GV, 6 kills C9
- TIP vs. C9: 15 kills TIP, 8 kills C9
- TL Vs. C9: 23 kills TL, 8 kills C9 The fact of the matter is that teams arent having nearly as much as an issue in finding kills against C9 as they did last split. Not to mention that C9 are having a hard time finding kills in their losses, so the KDA is pretty nice in each of these games. So I personally am gonna challenge the notion that C9 games are no longer a drought for kills.
SO! Who are my biggest sleepers heading into week 4?
-
ROC. While their record says otherwise, ROCCAT have been able to post pretty average numbers on a consistent basis (30+ points). And back in week 2 they had one hell of a week. Now, they are facing EL and "The punching bag of EU" SK. ROC's week has a high possibility of them going off this week. The fact that they have been able to put up some average numbers on a consistent basis in going 2-4 makes me believe they could have one hell of a week this week.
-
TIP. While they are sitting 3-3, this should be, all things considered, a good week for TIP. Im still not sold on DIG at the moment. While they did have an impressive win over TSM, i'm just not sold quite yet. I think TIP will able to beat both DIG and NME this week. TIP has been putting up pretty average numbers thus far, but they could easily have a 2-0 week this week. We know they are an explosive group, we just need one week to ignite them, and this very well could be that week.

UOL. Yes. Their week 3 sucked. Oh God was it awful. (As to be expected with their schedule). But their week 4 looks way more promising going up against SK and GMB. Both of these teams had very slow starts to the split, and while GMB may have begun to find their footing, Im sure UOL will have no issue in overcoming this GMB squad. (Do I even need to mention the SK game at this point?)
GENERAL NOTE:
As you probably have noticed, I didn't include a chart for week 4. Here is the issue with the chart on a week by week basis. the chart is set up primarily for a draft scenario, and while it may help people see the players all ranked 1-20 in each of the positions, I feel its too general being in the middle of the split. Every match-up is different, and therefore some decisions are are also changed to accommodate certain match-ups. Also, things change depending on whether or not its a 4/6/8 man league. If the chart was helpful last week, let me know and I can easily post an updated version. But Im just worried it may mislead people thats all.
Below is the link to my new fantasy LCS show! Tune in Tuesday at 5:00 PM Central Time, (12:00 a.m CEST), to talk all things fantasy, to answer your questions looking at week 4 and onward, and just to have a great time! :D
