**UPDATE: Week 5's Forum is now posted. Check in the new/hot section of the fantasy boards and be sure to post week 5 questions there. Week 4 analysis is now available! **

Hi there!

Ok, so the purpose of this forum is exactly what the title describes, to help people set up their best line up possible heading into the next week of games. We've all experienced a moment where we are choosing between two players, not sure which one will have the better turn-out with regards to their current match-ups, their record, if their on a losing streak, new subs of the team, etc. This can now become a place where the fantasy community can help each other out with their rosters so that they are receiving their full potential each and every week. This can also be a place to discuss possible Add/Drop possibilites. Anyway, everyone can understand the purpose behind this forum now.

Just simply post a question about who you are deciding between, along with your reasonings behind why you should and shouldn't start them. Then hopefully a fellow fantasy community member will be able to respond and help you make your decision. Anyone can help out! Multiple opinions and beliefs are better than just one! Remember, Strength in numbers.

Disclaimer: Human beings cannot foresee the future, everything posted on here are just calculated predictions.

Hopefully this now provides a means for all of us as a community to help each other in achieving the glorious 1st place spot in your respected leagues, along with the entitled sensation of "Bragging Rights." Best of luck to all of you! #LCS #Fantasy #DecisionsAreHard

                                                                                            **Week 3 Analysis **

We'll start with EU:

Three things:

  1. "Oh how the mighty have... fallen?" Two teams entered week 3 undefeated, and only one came out. SK now stands alone as the only undefeated team in the LCS, where as FNC has now fallen to 5-1. However... FNC was STILL able to pull out a 3rd consecutive week of 50+ point showings from each of their players. Why is this important? Because Even when FNC had a 1-1 week, They STILL raked in a ton of points!!! This should speak wonders to fantasy owners about that team. Their play style is just every fantasy owners dream, they never, EVER, stop being aggressive. So although SK is the team to beat in the LCS, *FNC is still the team to beat in Fantasy. *

  2. I would classify the entire UOL's roster as sleepers heading into Week 4. They already have shown some of their potential in these 6 games thus far. DO NOT LET THEIR RECORD FOOL YOU. Across the board, UOL's entire roster is Top 5 in average points per game in each of their respected positions, (Minus POE, but he is absolutely insane. He is has soo much potential and is one of the stronger mid laners in EU). Vizicsacsi is ranked 4th overall in average points in the top lane position, Kikis is ranked 4th in Jung (Right along side shook), Vardags is ranked 3rd in adc (Practically tied with REKKLES), and Hysslaing is ranked 5th in supp. UOL has a relatively easy schedule this week and are primed to do well week 4.

  3. This is more of a general note, but EU is kicking NA's a$$ in regards to fantasy points. Across the board. If you look at the stats tab in fantasy, you will see (except for a few exceptions such as Zion, Byrgesen, and Link, etc.) that the Top scorers in each of the respected positions are filled by players in EU in average points per game. Dont know if its attributed to NA's more passive/ strategic strategies, but EU is whats raking in the points right now after 3 weeks. (This is not to say to jump off the NA fantasy band wagon, just a mere observation).

Now, for NA.

Three things:

  1. It took them three weeks, **but signs are pointing towards C9 finally finding their groove. ** Their coming off a 2-0 week and are about to head into a relatively easy week 4. (DIG and WFX). So I will classify C9's squad as sleepers for week 4 (Never would I have thought I would use "C9" and "sleepers" in the same sentance...). But expect them to carry their performance over into week 4. The only thing I caution about their team, particularly Hai, is that their game style was extremely passive, but effective. That may change due to facing weaker teams, which may result in sloppy gameplay, but we'll see!

  2. Team Liquid, unfortunately, is no longer the Team Liquid we saw in week 1. Back in week 1, when they had KEITHMCBRIEF , they absolutely were in full control in both the LCS and Fantasy, and even beat CLG! (Granted Zion wasnt there). But ever since they added piglet, their record has been 1-3. Im not saying this is all attributed to piglets gameplay (We all know he is one of the best ADC there is), but it altered their entire team dynamic. Whether this is a communication issue, a confidence issue, (or both), they just arent the dominant force we all saw back a couple weeks ago. Will they pick it up? Likely. How soon? Dunno... ALthough they went 1-1 this weekend, they played a very conservative game against coast, and lost to a struggling DIG, resulting in minimal points. Just be wary about TL heading into week 4.

  3. TSM vs. CLG We all wanted it to happen. Both 5-1. Week 4 will finally put and end to the TSM vs CLG debate. I have NO clue who is going to win it. Ever since CLG has added Zion to the roster, they went 4-0 and continue to look hot. But Bjrgesen has been UNSTOPPABLE. TSM just look like they outclass every opponent thus far. But yet, so has Link and CLG. ITS going to be one hell of a game. But do not be discouraged to bench either a CLG or a TSM player this week because of this. They are the star players right now, so why bench star players because they face another star player? Keep your powerhouses in.

You both have touched on it but I will summarize for lazy readers like myself:

1 - Pick EU teams/players. 2 - Fnatic, Elements, & SK should have an easy week. 3 - Never underestimate UOL. 4 - Be careful...TSM is up against CLG this week.

I agree with most of what you had to say in the post, EULCS:

  1. I would also like to point out that the Fantasy power houses in EU (ie Fnatic, SK and Elements) will be raking in the points with this being what I would call an easy week as they are up against either MYM or Giants. Giants haven't showed up yet this season and MYM are having so much controversy that they may see their dream of being in the EULCS destroyed unless they can fix their in house issues. In my opinion all of these players are super safe picks for high points.
  2. Another team to look at this week would be UOL (another point well made) they are up against Team Roccat and MYM (previous point still valid) and don't let the scores fool you this team is rated higher in my opinion due to their IEM appearance which saw them beat TSM 2-0. They are also the only team to knock Fnatic off their winning streak I would put them in as definite sleepers and believe that they will smash this week in points. They have also been extremely consistent in their scoring of Fantasy points even though Hylissang is only rated at 22 (would like to point out the same holds true of Lustboy in predicted points) NALCS:
  3. I'm extremely disappointed in this scene overall as they have moved into a Passive low points scoring meta which is not what you want at all. Piglet has probably been the biggest let down in the entire LCS side by side with Xspecial. These 2 players with so much potential just haven't been able to find their groove with each other and have been costing Team Liquid some pretty easy wins. I think they hype that was generated in the off season was too much and with Visa issues and piglet not being able to train with the team prior to the LCS it has cost their team more than they realise. In saying that I think that approximately, week 5 we will see a piglet making more of an impact.
  4. CLG and TSM!! Both teams have been amazing this season seeing the best start for CLG and probably their strongest team since season 2, with Zion up on the top lane and Link in Mid and Aphro-lift in bot lane this team seems set for the #1 spot this series, the question is how do they match up against their shared place holder TSM. TSM have been a dominant force in seasons 3, 4 and now 5 good luck to CLG because if there was one match to win this series make it this one. Untouched points: Cris from Team coast seems like a good pick for top if you are struggling with the remaining players in your league he is a reliable point scorer and even though Coast has lost a majority of it's matches he is still able to put big points on the board.

Sleepers for week 4: UOL, TiP, Team Roccat (Even though I predict UOL to win the match against them they are also up against H2K who haven't really shown up this season

Ok now for some advice... I have Reignover and FORG1VEN as main starters in the position of ADC and Jungle. I am in a spot where I can't decide whether I should put Shook in as a Flex pick (has been very good with points after the week 1 disaster) or to put in Vardags (UOL ADC who I also think is going to have a huge week this week...) Anyone have any advice? I have lost all 3 weeks due to week 1 faith in C9 (Complete let down and super sad face) and week 2 and 3 also massive let downs with Team Liquid under performing... :( I picked up Quas in week 1 and I thought to myself this is going to be a massive season for them sigh... #BRINGBACKKEITH

I don't know who I want to put for ADC. It's between Altec and Cop. I might be able to drop either one of them to pick up CoreJJ.

Altec est. pt: 31 match: TIP and C9 Cop est. pt: 41 match TSM and TL CoreJJ est. pt: 32 match: C9 and T8

Which one do you think is going to be a safe pick?

Dropsmack2/11/2015, 5:36:35 AM1 votes

I'm looking to start Link instead of Fox. They both have great potential but one may be a safer bet. What do you think?

HeManHutt2/11/2015, 8:04:31 AM1 votes

I'm in a eight man league so right now I'm hurting in terms of my mid. I currently have on my team Soren of CW who had an amazing last week but is going against FNC (my opponent has two of them btw) and undefeated SK. My other mid is Jesiz of Coast going against CLG where my opponent has Link as his mid. In my mindset Jesiz is the safe bet these week and Soren is the calculated risk, can he repeat last we and upset one of the two top teams? Also this week in my league Shiphtur, Ryu, Nia and Kori are all available to be added.

TL:DR I don't have any all-star mids curious if anyone has advice on someone this week.

I just want to thank @Nural for all the great work he's done here. I've been coming here a lot and it has helped me clear up my thoughts and as we head into week 4 I am confident I'll win because of the help I've gotten, and because of what I've realized from writing. So @Nural you've been great to work with, I won't be back on before the season starts tommorow, because my proxy server doesn't work to let me login when I am at school but anyways TY very much m80.

Sincerely, Lemwell

I have the following... top-Huni Jungle-Santorin Mid-Fox Adc-Steeelback Supp-Gleeb Flex - Xiaoweixiao Team-UOL I'm actually undefeated and going on my 4th win even tho I picked a troll team at first with saintvicious darien and Hotshotgg. I'm planning on changing gleeb to uol's support next week since gleeb is leaving wfx and changing xwx to freeze since xwx isn't having a hot season so far and is def unreliable. However I kind of want more NA players. Anyone have any suggestions on who I should pick up?

InSaiyann2/16/2015, 2:29:27 AM1 votes

So who else started Shook, REKKLES and Nyph like I did?

Furnace Of Souls2/16/2015, 6:26:07 PM1 votes

Start Prayin2/10/2015, 1:09:35 PM1 votes

should i put up zion or altec this week as my flex pick? (other option would be hai/helios)

Furnace Of Souls2/10/2015, 2:36:08 PM1 votes

hey....i know i already asked for a ton of advice so far but vardags is a free agent in my league. should i pick him up and put him in the flex position over nukeduck?

TheOGShadow2/10/2015, 4:08:57 PM1 votes

My team for this week

  • Huni Shook Fox Steelback Nyph Woolite or PowerOfEvil? Elements, C9, UOL, Roccat or TIP ?
Zheat2/10/2015, 6:05:26 PM1 votes

Should I give Piglet a chance to shine in easier matches for flex position or should I rather drop him and get Wildturtle despite his match with CLG? (My main adc atm is Rekkles) Other option could be svenskeren who is on my bench
