Jan. 7th @8am PST start time, but can't join/create Fantasy LCS league.

Tried joining a league and this is the message I got.

"The first match in the final week of the season has already occurred, so there can be no new teams created in this season."

I was under the impression that the new Fantasy LCS started on Jan. 7th at 8am Pacific time. It's past 9am MST, so it either isn't on schedule, or am I missing something? I tried reading other posts to find out why, but couldn't come to any conclusions regarding it.

If it starts today, how much time is there between now and the first match this coming season to start/join teams? I just don't want to be late for any drafts. This is the first time i'm joining a Fantasy LCS league, so i'm not entirely familiar with the process.

Edit: Re-read the details, and they start Jan. 14/15, so that question is answered.

I think the person you're talking about tried to re-activate the same league from the last split. Matches don't start until next week and even after next week you can still make new leagues. It starts sometime today (Whenever RITO wants to stop torturing everyone) and then you'll be good to go. Just gotta be patient. I'm sure when fantasy goes lives someone will post on front page of Reddit to let everyone know. Good luck!
