Spring 2016 Starters Discussion + Week 4 Analysis (Who Do You Start Week 5?)
Hi there!
Ok, so the purpose of this forum is exactly what the title describes, to help people set up their best line up possible heading into the next week of games. We've all experienced a moment where we are choosing between two players, not sure which one will have the better turn-out with regards to their current match-ups, their record, if their on a losing streak, new subs of the team, etc. This can now become a place where the fantasy community can help each other out with their rosters so that they are receiving their full potential each and every week. This can also be a place to discuss possible Add/Drop possibilities. Anyway, everyone can understand the purpose behind this forum now.
Just simply post a question about who you are deciding between, along with your reasonings behind why you should and shouldn't start them. Then hopefully a fellow fantasy community member will be able to respond and help you make your decision. Anyone can help out! Multiple opinions and beliefs are better than just one! Remember, Strength in numbers.

Week 4 Analysis!
Halfway through the split and the equation STILL holds: NA > EU.
NA last week was a complete bloodbath, considering both TSM and C9 decided to make a name for themselves and prove the haters wrong. Not to say EU isnt worth noting. If your a G2 or a UOL fan, this was a great week because it was a major testament to both teams that they are not just for show, but they have what it takes to stay at the top.
Usually I use this following Ideology when betting on teams in the offseason, but the same can be applied to this. "The Hotter team will beat the "better" team." Teams that are "hot" will usually beat all of their other competition, even if the team they face are historically/statistically the "better" team. But what happens when two got teams go head to head? (Cough H2K vs. G2 Cough) Well, to be honest, its more or less gonna be a coin flip. However, G2 have shown more misplays than that of H2K throughout the split, and I think H2K will be able to punish that of G2, more so than most other teams.
However, I still think these two teams playstyles will lead to an explosive game on both fronts, and that you should do the following.
Personally, if choosing between the two players, here is what I would do...
- TOP:(H2K) Odo
- Jungle: (G2) Trick
- Mid: (H2K) Selfie
- ADC: (H2K) Forgiven
- Supp: (G2) Hybrid
SLEEPERS!
- TL
TL had an ok week last week, (Unless you had Dardoch. <3), mainly sue to the IMT matchup. But this week should be different. They face C9 and REN. The REM match-up alone is enough for me to put them over the edge. But C9, while they did come out swinging last week, they are extremely inconsistent. I think TL will have C9's number this week around, because usually when C9 does well one week, they throw it all away the next. So TL! TL! TL!
- ROC
Now listen. I know these guys are 1-7. I know, I get it. But their match-ups this week just SCREAM points. They face GIANTS and EL. These are two lower ranking teams, and ROC, ever while they are 1-7, still are putting up 25-30 something points every week. Considering this week, they could easily explode at the lower level, sloppy play ahead of them.
Now, does this mean you bench Bjergsen to put in betsy? Absolutely the hell not batman! Only put in these players if you are in desperate need of a player this week and you have no better options available to you lol.
The FUNTASY League

Week 1: Who ever had the most kills won. Week 2: The Checkerboard. Week 3: Who ever had the most Assists. Week 4: The Roster-Swap

This week's constraint is a roster constraint. This week is called, "Root for the Underdogs!"
This week, you may ONLY start players who are 6th place and below in the LCS standings.
NA, you may only start: TL, TIP, DIG, FOX, REN players. EU, you may only start : OG, EL, SPL, ROC, GIANTS players.
Player with the most points wins the week! GL GL!
