Spring 2016 Starters Discussion + Week 5 Analysis (Who Do You Start Week 6?)
Hi there!
Ok, so the purpose of this forum is exactly what the title describes, to help people set up their best line up possible heading into the next week of games. We've all experienced a moment where we are choosing between two players, not sure which one will have the better turn-out with regards to their current match-ups, their record, if their on a losing streak, new subs of the team, etc. This can now become a place where the fantasy community can help each other out with their rosters so that they are receiving their full potential each and every week. This can also be a place to discuss possible Add/Drop possibilities.
Just simply post a question about who you are deciding between, along with your reasonings behind why you should and shouldn't start them. Then hopefully a fellow fantasy community member will be able to respond and help you make your decision. Anyone can help out! Multiple opinions and beliefs are better than just one! Remember, Strength in numbers.
Disclaimer: Human beings cannot foresee the future, everything posted on here are just calculated predictions/opinions.
Hopefully this now provides a means for all of us as a community to help each other in achieving the glorious 1st place spot in your respected leagues, along with the entitled sensation of "Bragging Rights." Best of luck to all of you! #FantasyLCS #DecisionsAreHard
Week 6 Sleepers
- FNC:
Now some will argue that FNC is too "Good" of a team to be considered a sleeper, but regardless of terminology, I like FNC this week. Ever since the LCS has moved to Patch 6.2, FNC has been scoring very well, (not to mention they are 3-1). They face off against G2 and SPLYCE. Splyce is the no brainer here, but the G2 game will be harder to manage for FNC. But here is why I'm liking FNC as a fantasy team as of late, There games have been higher kill games. Even in that game against UOL in which they lost, they still were able to get 11 kills total, which is pretty impressive when on the losing end in the LCS. I think the G2 match will be bloody, regardless if FNC wins or loses.
- CLG
While the game against TSM last week might have hurt the pride and soul of both CLG Fans and Fantasy Owners alike, this week should be much different. They face off against NA's punching bag REN and an aggressive TIP. CLG is clearly the better team between these two. They should stomp that of renegades, and TIP will be sure to match what ever aggression is being thrown at them. CLG is looking to have a bloody week this week.
- C9
Now promise me you'll all take this with a grain of salt, and ill also try to do the same. But the fact of the matter is, C9 is in practically the same boat as that of FNC. I dont know what it is about 6.2, but since then, C9 has been playing in very, VERY high kill games. Not to mention, they are also 3-1 since 6.2 came out. While I want to say its time to jump all aboard the C9 hype train, I still need to see them in action for one more week before I present my ticket to the conductor. But if you are having issues finding a good fill in this week, C9 is not your worst option at the moment. Get em while there hot.
The FUNTASY League
For all of those who are participating in a Funtasy League, Here comes your new, week 6 constraint! So far, we've had...
Week 1: Who ever had the most kills won. Week 2: The Checkerboard. Week 3: Who ever had the most Assists. Week 4: The Roster-Swap Week 5: Root for the Underdogs!
Week 6 Constraint:
Week 6 is both a roster AND a win condition constraint.
This week, you may only start NA players. No EU whatsoever. NA! NA! NA!
The player whose team has the HIGHEST CS AMOUNT wins the week. Points don't matter, only CS does. (What does CS mean? It means Creep Kills. A.k.a Minions).
GL GL! :D
I host a weekly Fantasy LCS analysis show every Wednesday at 8 PM CST! Tune in for savvy fantasy discussion and all thing hilarity. :D
