As you walk down the streets of the city, you stop as a ripped page hits your leg. Annoyed, you bend down and pick it up. Couldn't hurt to read it, you suppose. You have nowhere to be anyway, right?
Demacia I had a sit down with Quinn earlier today and talked to her about her recent scouting trip for Demacia. I know she's a she because she told me so. I was just as shocked as any of you.
Quinn looked really shaken up when I finally had the chance to talk to her, and I pried. What kind of a reporter would I be if I didn't pry?
"It was big... Hulking. Really evil stuff, y'know?" She told me, clenching a cup of some sort of Demacian pick-me-up in her hands.
"Valor squawked and took off before I even had a chance to tell him to keep quiet. He gave away my position and the thing stared up at the tree I was in and tried to ram it down! After a few headbutts the tree actually fell... I almost fell with it, but thankfully I always keep something with me to get out of situations like that. I grappled to another nearby tree and watched the beast as it flew into a frenzy, rushing off through the forest, knocking things in its path left and right. I was too petrified to move." At this point, Quinn shudders and notes to me that she needs to take a break from the interview. I nod and give her a moment.
"Eventually I gathered enough courage to try and track it and came across a little Yordle child in rags lying on the forest floor, but it looked really different from the Yordles in Bandle City and it kind of reminded me of the monster. Don't take this the wrong way when I tell you that I abandoned it, but I really felt as if it was a part of the monster, maybe its child or something? I don't know... I took off back to Demacia as fast as my legs could carry me. Valor rejoined me later and told me that he watched the thing actually transform into the kid. Really really glad I didn't try to help it now... It's amazing what kind of things you find in Valoran every day."
Quinn and I talked for longer after that, but nothing really came of it. No juicy gossip except something about her seeing Ezreal leave Lux's bedchamber looking really really satisfied, so I went to talk to him next.
