rin didn't wear that dumb sweater and wore a cross. you are probably mislabeling a picture of ahri in a red sweater that's using a design that's become very popular these last couple weeks.

The colors and look are similar enough to call it a cosplay of Rin. You might even say that Ahri is avoiding copyright infringement by using that cleavage window. XD

so anytime a woman is wearing a red sweater it's a rin cosplay? the shade of red doesn't even match

No, but Ahri has the matching sweater, skirt, AND thighhighs. Since it's in that combination, it's pretty similar to Rin.

short skirt and thigh highs is not uncommon on sexy anime style images, the term for it is Zettai Ryouiki and is so common that it is often just abbreviated to ZR

the sweater is not "matching," it isn't even close. it's kind of a similar shade of red but this sweater is too long, has a boob window, appears to be two pieces, lacks the cross design, has a thicker neck and is ribbed.

if she were cosplaying rin she also would surely have rin's hairstyle of twintails done up with ribbons.

this picture is clearly about the sweater because this style has become very popular in images over the past couple weeks. i can't remember where the sweater was first featured but it has nothing to do with F/SN

i can't honestly say i'd be satisfied with that conclusion. it's actually quite distressing to me that anyone would be so unwilling to back down from a viewpoint that is so easily demonstrated to be incorrect, even/especially with something as trivial as a reference to a character's costume.
