[Item Concept] Attack Range Booster

So I was thinking, there are items to increase just about every single stat in the League (HP, armor, life steal, attack speed, etc etc), but there are no items that actually increase a player's attack range.

This item would only work for ranged champions, similar to Runaan's Hurricane. I know Runaan's technically increases attack range with the bolts (if you attack a target at your maximum range, I think the Runaan's bolts will extend beyond your maximum attack range, correct me if I'm wrong there). But this item would have a unique passive (stacking a bunch would be stupid OP; an adc could stand at his own turret and attack his opponent under their turret, we wouldn't want that).

This item would increase attack range but not vision radius. This would limit the OP-ness by reducing the circumstances in which the champion has increased attack range. If the champion can see somewhere with a ward or an ally's line of sight, great, but otherwise they're limited to their normal vision radius.

So I'm thinking something like this:

item 1043 + item 3134 + item 1006 + 300 gold = Longbow (total cost 2717 gold)

  • 35% attack speed
  • 30 AD
  • 10% CDR
  • 10 Armor Penetration
  • 8 health regen per 5

Unique Passive (ranged champions only)

  • Increases attack range by 15%

I don't think there's any champions that this would be overly OP on (except maybe Tristana?), but if you can think of some way that this item could be abused, let me know in the comments.

This item is all over the place.
Also, why take percentages?

I like the concept of the item. But only as far as the range increase.

I would like to see it as a AS crit% flat range extender as alternative to the item 3086 line. With no or little damage and no pen. And another difference would be no move speed in the item. Making it a meaningful choice.

The reason is that ADC is a damage champ/ crit champ. And that we have to build into this. So items that do not give really meaningful stats are ignored. Afterall not many ADC can get away with a item 3142 in there build. It just does to little for a champ that has maintain damage
