Truly, truly OUTRAGEOUS Taric rework, heck yeah Riot * /r/leagueoflegends

So this is my rework of Taric I'd like to put forward for Riot's perusal. Taric

Q: Imbue- Taric heals target ally at 450 range and himself [75/100/200+30%AP], and covers them in a Gem Coat AD shield [50+25%Armour] which lasts for 30 seconds. 40% less powerful if Taric casts it on himself. If Taric has his maximum amount of Gem Coats on, he will not apply another one.

19/18/17/16/15 second cooldown, 75/60/70/80/90 Mana.

W: Shatter- Passively, Taric applies a Gem Coat shield to himself [max: 1/2/2/2/3, 40+25% Armour] every 15 seconds. When activated, all Gem Coats of Taric and any coated allies will explode in a 250 range AoE, dealing magic damage [50+25% Armour], and he will recieve a Movement Speed boost of 30 until his next Gem Coat spawns.

5 second cooldown, 25 Mana. Requires active Gem Coats to cast.

E: Dazzle- Projects a 600 range beam of coloured light from Taric in the direction of the mouse. Beams last for 2/3/4 seconds, damage enemies [50+30% AP], and Charm if an enemy hits it face-on for 1 second, or Blind if it hits an enemy from behind for 1.25 seconds [cannot stun repeatedly]. If Taric shines it at a ward, it will split into 5 multicoloured Dazzle rays radiating from that ward, for a further 300 range.

19/18/17/16/15 second cooldown, 75 Mana.

R: Reflection/Diamond Edge- After channeling for 2/1.5/1 seconds, Taric REFLECTS enemy projectiles that hit him back in the angle they came from for the next 5 seconds, taking only 1% damage from the hits. They can hit enemies, and apply their original effects. If Taric cancels the channel, he and nearby allies gain Diamond Edges, granting bonus Armour penetration [45/75/95] for their next autoattack, and half the cooldown and mana cost is refunded.

75 second cooldown, 100 Mana cost.

Basically my plan keeps Taric's core- buffs to allies, low mobility, tanky, heal and AP/armour builds for burst with hard CC- the same, but avoids giving him a conventional skillshot like every new champ seems to be getting, and gives him more strategy, more counterplay, and more potential for huge plays [reflect an Ashe ult into the enemy team it came from! Amplify your Dazzle through a well placed ward and into 5 weak enemies for a pentakill!]

So mostly the only changes made are: his ult becoming an actual ult, passive ally armour becoming strategically allocated shields instead, and his targeted ability becoming a beam of shining disco light similar in form to a mini Vel'Koz ultimate. Taric
