#Playable Skins 1). Classic Skin: Aliod has a faint greenish glow to his algae colored skin. Being a celestial being, he is often the oddest one in the room. He has light silver hair as Soraka does, and a pair of glowing blue eyes. He has a dark black and gold-trimmed helmet with stag-like horns reaching out of the top. His chest armor is somewhat for decoration; however, the metallic wings, although not natural, allow him sustained flight in low altitudes. His bracers and boots match his chestplate, although his boots allow space for his hooves. His chosen weapon is a double-sided, pearl-colored halberd.

2). Infernal Aliod: Aliod gians a more sinister, wicked appearance. His skin is replaced by faint glowing crimson flesh, and his eyes turn to a dark orange. His metallic wings turn to a dark black, bat-like look, and his helmet's stag-like horns turn to demonic, curled ones. His once serene and elegant bracers turn to spiked, bladed ones, and his chestplate gains scalemail beneath the now dark black, obsidian plated chest. His double-sided halberd turns into a double-sided trident with twisted, curled prongs.

Interesting concept, and one of the more unique ones I've seen on the forums! I like the % Bonus of Item stats, that's a unique mechanic. It would scale well with someone who's already doing well without boosting them to and incredible degree.

Thank you for the kind words, it is very much appreciated. I think it adds more possibilities for the shielded target. It gives them slightly more armor, ability power, movement speed, attack damage, or whatever item bonuses they have currently active. I wanted to make him main supportive mechanic something unique.

This is a pretty confusing champion. I'll just hit on some of the more prevalent points.

-You say that his main role is a mage, yet half of his kit is more support-style abilities, and his damage output is mediocre, except for on his W.

-That passive is basically Janna's.

-What does % item bonus even mean?

-The active effect on his E that reduces his Q's cooldown should really be a passive effect. Also, 4% cooldown reduction? That would reduce his Q's cool down by .4 seconds.

Thank you for the solid feedback. I'll answer your questions opposite of their order.

  • The 4% was a typo, I originally intended for it to by 14%. That has been updated. I thought about making his E a passive, toggled on ability but I wasn't entirely sure. You think I should?
  • Say you have 100 Armor. 5% of 100 is 5, 10% of 100 is 10, and 15% of 100 is 15. That can add up to be quite a bit of additional armor, magic resistance, etc. That is how the percentage works.
  • I can see the similarities in increasing movement speed for nearby allies. But, alas, they are different. Janna's passive increases movement speed by 10%, period. Aliod's increases their movement speed to a maximum of 15% as long as they are moving towards him. I wanted this to further add to his support-kit, and encourage team laning.
  • You're absolutely right, so I decided to make him primarily support. I hope this answers all of your questions and comments.

Ah, the art man, makes me happy when people post visuals :)

The kit and theme themselves are spectacular, but you need to innovate more. Right now, W is a lame generic damaging move, and there are no real interesting elements/new gameplay patterns outside of Imbue (which is great).

To me, the kit itself isn't lacking, it just needs a good passive to drive it, so inspiration should be changed as it hampers the kit right now (imo).

Otherwise, great concept, and you'll need to add more stuff (such as lore) in the immediate future, as whole categories for judging is based on that stuff (I want to see moar).

I am still working on lore, as it always takes me quite a bit to really lock in a solid idea I have. How do you think I should alter Inspiration? Thank you for the praise, it is appreciated as always!

Inspiration to me feels like 'winning while losing', but obviously that can't be capitalized on too much without being OP.

I would have it so that his abilities mark enemies hit, and killing those enemies restore all nearby champions' health (maybe an added bonus to the killer).

Just one idea to play off of...

That is an interesting idea, I'll definitely see how I can incorporate it...

In my opinion, his passive works fine right now. It makes him slightly more aggressive, because for his teammates to use it, he needs to be in the front lines. His ultimate would also benefit from this passive, seeing as if you're in the back line, ult to the front, W into the enemy team, then follow, you could get a lot of damage off your adc as he/she kites. (Caitlyn dash and passive)

MegaBoomBoom2 votes

His ultimate is very well balanced. It has great potential to be used as a scaling peel for your ADC, but the unit collision and armor, along with a movement speed boost from an item, would make it a great escape tool. Then again, his ult has no protective abilities for the adc, and if you use your q for protection on your adc, you greatly reduce the amount of damage you can do with your ultimate. Hmm.

Then again, I believe these drawbacks are what would set him apart as a support, plus that skillshot stun. Slow champs beware!

I wanted him to be primarily support, but sometimes, people like to switch it up and play straight up damage roles. I intended for his ultimate to do fair amounts of moderate damage (especially if 1 vs. 1 in a lane when shielded), but also serves as a nifty escape tool. So players really would need to make a decision: do I want to support myself and do more damage, or support the ADC? It really is up to all of you.

Thank you for the excellent feedback and kind words, it is greatly appreciated.
