[Champion Concept] Kami, the Paper Princess

So despite what you may believe, this concept was entirely my own. Neverworld said it would probably be something based off Naruto (when he saw 'the paper princess'), but I swear to Phreak I had no idea what that was when I came up with this concept.

Kami is a hybrid support champ made of paper, and if you hadn't guessed, her abilities are all based on folding paper (or herself).

Kami, The Paper Princess

Passive Papercuts

  • Every 10th damaging ability and/or basic attack applies grievous wounds for 2 seconds.

Q: Unfolding Armies

  • Yes, I like the song by Two Steps From Hell.

  • Kami unfolds herself into 2/3/4/5/6 copies, linked in a chain like paper dolls to form a wall. Each doll has her current health and blocks enemy movement (phantom dancers may pass through), but does not attack. Kami chooses which doll to fold back into afterward.

W: Lantern

  • Kami places a small paper lantern that reveals an area for some time. Upon timing out or being destroyed (one hit will destroy it), it explodes, dealing a small aoe magic damage.

E: Paper Thin

  • Kami flattens, becoming untargetable for a brief period. She still takes damage from damage over time abilities like poisons or bleeds inflicted before flattening.

R: Origami Master

  • This is where Kami really shines. Instead of a single ability, Kami's ultimate unfolds (see what I did there? xD) into 6 possible creatures or weapons, depending on her key combo.

  • With each level-up of her ult, Kami can choose 2 more options (i.e. start with dragon and orchid, then add shurikens and snakes, then add cranes and hornets)

  • Upon pressing R, Kami's Q,W,E cooldowns are hidden (but not reset), and the combination of Q,W, and E pressed determines what creature or ability is summoned. Kami channels for as long as it takes her summoner to press the key combo.

  • QWE: Snakes - 5 paper snakes seek out and bite enemy champions, dealing small physical damage.

  • QEW: Orchid - Kami places a beautiful paper flower that attracts (taunts) any enemy who looks at it.

  • WQE: Dragon - Kami summons a massive paper dragon that terrifies any enemy it flies over. This is a cross-map projectile but does not deal any damage.

  • WEQ: Cranes - An army of paper cranes illuminates a massive area of the map around Kami for a brief period.

  • EQW: Hornets - Kami summons a swarm of angry hornets to plague an area near her, dealing aoe magic damage to enemies in the afflicted area.

  • EWQ: Shurikens - 16 razor-sharp paper shurikens radiate from Kami (similar to Talon's ult), each dealing physical damage to the first enemy hit.

Notes:

  • Kami is intended as a high-skill utility/cc support champ that has massive presence in team fights. Her ultimate has many uses, but you must choose wisely when to use it as it has a fairly long cooldown.

  • Her dance could be her paper-doll line doing kick-dancing or whatever it is.

Good idea, but I feel that the passive is too weak and the ult is too timely to use. Instead, the passive should inflict bleed damage every few attacks and the ult should have less forms of animals.

Great Concept btw.

I like the concept, but I have to agree, all of her ult forms should be available at all levels to avoid confusion, but the damage/length of fear/etc could be increased with each rank of her ult.

Alternately idea for a passive : "Paper Cranes" / "Senbazuru" If Kami hasn't attacked or cast a spell for 5 seconds, she gains X Crane Stacks per second where X is equal to Kami's level. Up to 300 stacks can be stored, and 100 stacks can will be auto-consumed to make the next ability cost no mana.

Wow, this is really unique! I love it. Her passive should be a bit stronger, maybe extra damage as well as Grievous Wounds. Also, I'm pretty confused about her Q. How does she control all her copies? Does she die when all her copies are killed? Other than that, its pretty good. I feel that if she could detonate her lantern it would be better, though. However, I love the ult! I imagine it having a very short cooldown. Maybe like 45/35/20 or something like that. Maybe less origami forms, but more effects on individual ones. Otherwise, nice! I'd love to see some kind of visual to this!
