I think Gromp is the only one who actually kept his official name. I've heard people calling krugs "golems" again.

I always call them by their new names. It's Gromp, Sentinel and his Sentires, Murkwolfs, Raptors (Even though I usually say Razorbeak cause it's a superior name), Brambleback and his Cinderlings, and the Kruggs.

I'll still call the Sentinel and the Brambleback, Blue and Red respectivly, but I get a giggle when someone's like "whut is that?" whenever I say, Sentinel and/or Brambleback.

I know what they're called... but I enjoy calling things by stupid names... "grump" or "frog," "puppies," "chickens" or "birds" or "birbs," and "rocks." I'll occasionally call them by their actual names when I'm actually focused on the game...
