I'm 100% sure that Riot will release a deep sea Vel'Koz skin at some point in our lifetime.

Deep Sea Skin...theres a GIANT SQUID to the side in the back! It pretty much sums up what 
should look like as a Deep Sea Skin.

You think that's creepy? There's actually a small race of crabs in the northcoast of japan, but they are EXTREMELY GIANT CRABS with giant legs. That's pretty more fearsome than some long arm squid.. but yeah, deep sea Vel'Koz is not an option but a straight skin that Riot is focusing on somewhere in the near future.
